I can hear parts of the song i didn't even know were there! What a great addition to my listening devises.

The noise canceling feature is great! They give a great surround sound. I wear mine on a bus and I don't hear anything else.

Amazing noise cancellation, bit pricey but would say it's worth it. Use it frequently on flights and it comes with a flight adapter as well. You can almost use it with no flight noise. Definitely love this

An aesthetic concept can have no absolute measure and that's a darn shame because these things produce perfect reproduction.

Headphones are awesome. They are great at eliminating jet engine noise on long flights. Wish I would've bought these sooner.

The sound quality is great on these. Battery life could be a little better and if you are connecting this to your computer the cord is a little short if you connect it to the back of your system. Over all a real good headset.

If you are a frequent traveler and need good noise cancellation, these will do it. If you do not need noise cancellation, then there are better headphones for the money.

I do a lot of flying on all types of planes. I was looking for something that provided good sound quality and effective noise reduction. These are it. They're extremely comfortable on the ears, the sound quality is excellent, and the noise reduction is great whether your listening to music, movies, or nothing at all.

These are the best noise cancelling headphones I've ever purchased. You cannot hear anything outside of the music playing.

I purchased these Bose headphones because of the noise canceling component. My wife suffers from sever headaches and can not tolerate noisy situations, like family get-togethers. The noise increases the pain of her headaches. She wore these at our family Christmas gathering and had a wonderful night of being able to hear others but not overwhelmed by the noise! We stayed the whole night vs leaving early! And this was just with the built in cancelation system; there was no music used to with the system to further mask the sound. The wires were not a factor as they can be disconnected if not needed. These phones may just be an answer to allow her to attend public gatherings and survive! If greater cancelation is needed she can add some soothing recorded tracks of ocean wave sounds, or forest and nature sounds which would increase the sound canceling feature even more. Very pleased with the price this Christmas as I can't remember Bose ever having a sale, but this year they did and I took advantage of it.

Blocks out airplane noise easily but retains enough that you can still hear if someone is talking to you. Great sound

After extensive searching for the perfect noise cancelling headphones... I found these. Not only are they exceptionally comfortable for extended periods of times (this is a HUGE problem for me!) but they have amazing sound ... In active or not... Amazing! Highly recommend! (Heck.. My husband wants some now too!)

These are great for listening to what you want to hear without all the outside sounds and interference.

Good silence, I always bring it with me when I travel. Feel total silent on plane.
