With these I can block out any external sounds, they are absolutely incredible. Also work really well for hands free talking on the phone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My only compliant is that after hours of daily use they can start to irritate the top of my head, but that is to be expected when you are wearing them for 6+ hours a day.

There really is no comparison. Even on the noisiest flight, you can hear nothing but the sweet, sweet music you are listening to or the movie you are watching. I had a pair of Beats Wireless Studio 3's that walked away. The Bose QuietComfort headphones are much better and more effective.

I own several speaker systems. I started with a QC3 on ear headphones and were the best at the time Sofar the QC35 have stood the quality sound. The bass is good enough for me.. not too loud not too soft! And the ANC ahead of the rest. I bought the grey for my wife and a black one for me as a X-Mas gift at Best Buy of course!
