They do occasionally disconnect from my iPhone X, but reconnects within seconds. My main complaint would be when you wear a hood or if there is wind, the headphones create a cringe-worthy sound if you turn a certain way.

White noise much diminished

I use this a lot at work to enhance concentration on tasks. I also use the link to Google for receiving notifications, and taking calls.
