haven't opened them yet (christmas gift) but expecting normal great quality from best buy and bose

These headphones are amazing and have changed my work life entirely! There are 2 reasons why I didn’t give them 5 stars: 1. Google Assistant doesn’t always work. 2. Every now and then I am unable to connect to a call via my headphones. Otherwise, these are perfection!

I fly often, and ride a subway daily, so I was very excited to get my hands on these headphones, the second edition of the Bose QC35. I had heard for years that the Quiet Comfort line had fantastic noise cancellation and great sound, and these headphones lived up to, even exceeded, the hype. The instructions in the box directed me to download the Bose Connect app, which was easy to get/install on my Android phone. Connecting the headphones was a snap, and a brief tutorial in the app helped me get used to what each hardware button does. It's all pretty simple and intuitive in this department. Next, it was time to put the headphones on. The active noise cancellation was simply stunning. Since I hadn't yet started any music or audio from my phone, the background noise from the outside world just faded away to silence. It was almost eerie at first, but I got used to it very quickly. With all that noise eliminated, I was able to hear music, streaming radio, and podcasts like never before. I used a much lower volume setting than before, too. I've had a chance to test the QC35s on a train and on a plane, and in both environments, the noise cancellation technology kept up. Apparently the one change from the first version of the QC35s is the addition of Google Assistant technology. I have an Android phone with Google Assistant, and the hardware button works well. Press and hold while speaking, and commands get patched through to the Assistant. It's a nice alternative to saying "OK Google" or holding down the button on my phone. Not the most impressive feature of the headphones, but nice to have if your phone supports it. If not, you can set the button to toggle noise cancellation modes. The QC35s are not small, but they are relatively light, and very comfortable to wear. They feel solidly built, and fold flat for storage in the included case. So far, battery life has been plenty generous. I've gotten through a few days of moderate use (several hours a day) without having to recharge. Overall, I'm very happy with the QC35s. I'm looking forward to a totally transformed daily commute, and a much more pleasant experience while traveling.

I don't think it gets any better than Bose. I have had several different over the ear devices, but these are the best. Perfect!!!!

I got my wife the QuietComfort 35 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones II as a gift. She really like having them on trips.

My son said that this is worth every penny I spent on it! He has to used it every day since we have it to him. A big hit.

These work GREAT! They fully remove all other sounds. HOWEVER, fabric that cover the ear pieces began to come off after a couple months of wear. I would not recommend these based on that. But I would recommend the buds if they work as well as the headphones do. I would’ve gave 5 stars for quality if they didn’t wear they way they have.

I've heard so much about how great the Bose QC35's are and I honestly have never really been that impressed. Their headphones aren't particularly stylish to look at and the sound quality was ok, but nothing that would make me put my JBL's Everest's or even Plantronics Back Beat Pro's down. That is until I got my hands on these bad boys. These headphones are still really not that impressive to look at, but the noise cancellation and well-balanced sound, make these my go to headphones now. I had my 5 and 7 year old sons jump around and scream while i had played some jazz music and while i could still hear them, i was pleasantly surprised how well these still performed. I already had the Bose Connect app and really liked being able to adjust the amount of noise cancellation, rename the headphones and play with some of the settings. When i first paired them, a quick tutorial popped up on how to use the buttons, activate Siri or Google Assistant, pairing, etc. If you are looking for a bass heavy headphone, these aren't it. These headphones provide a well-balanced sound through the mids, highs and lows. Im a little older now, so I don't care as much for the heavy bass as much as i used to. I like being able to actually distinguish between the instruments, hear the breathing when a singer takes a breath and just the overall quality of music. These headphones provide those features for me. I found the controls much easier to use than on my JBL Everest 750NC's and pairing was pretty simple as well. I am really amazed at how lightweight these are as well. I really expected them to be heavier, but i wore them for a couple of hours and felt no fatigue at all. I am headed on a business trip to the west coast here soon and I can't wait to give these a real test. The headphones come with a usb charging cable, 3.5mm headphone cable and a hard carrying case. The case has a convenient diagram of how you fold the headphones for storing them. If you are in the market for a new pair of headphones in this price range, i would definitely recommend you give these a try. I have been really impressed with these.
