I really like bose products and have couple of their products already that I am satisfied with but I had these for 2 days and they are already having issues smh. The anc is ok, it does not cancel out a lot of noise but enough to keep you zoned into your music. The sound quality is "MEH", I am not sure if I got a defective pair but when I have ANC on high or low and with the volume close to high, it crackles and overall just sounds horrible. The sound is a joke when anc is off, no bass, no clarity. I even updated it to the latest firmware and tried the reset steps on bose website, same problem. I do have their soundsport free wireless and they sound excellent but I regret getting these over the sony xm4. I got these for 200 when they went on sale but are still not worth it. I have time to return these so thats probably what I will do and get the sonys or give these another shot by getting them exchanged. As of now, I would not recommenced these but hopefully bose can come out with an update or I just got a bad headphone out the box.

It's a real shame that your disappointed with your new headphones. It does seem unusual that you're experiencing some quality issues with the sound. From my personal experience, these headphones produce a crisp, clear sound. Therefore, it does seem there may be a problem with your headphones.
You've taken some great steps with updating them and resetting them. I'd also suggest clearing the Bluetooth pairing list. To do this, hold the switch in the Bluetooth position for 10 seconds until you hear "Bluetooth device list cleared". Then, on all previously connected devices, delete the headphones from the Bluetooth list. Now reconnect them. Please also try the headphones when connected to different devices, if you haven't already.
