Bluetooth connection problem with Q35 model

I got this headphone about a year ago. In the first day, I tried to connect my laptop to this headphone but I was not successful and it did not show up any Q35 name. We had the same connection problem with my girlfriend's laptop. However, I could connect my iPhone at that time. Today, I tried to connect another device so I reset my headphone connection by keeping the button on the headphone toward the right side for 10 second. Now, the headphone does not recognize any device even my iPhone. I googled and observed many other users having the same issue. The suggested solution did not work as well. Tried to contact customer service but got a message that the headphone is not under warranty anymore and I need to replace that by paying for a new headphone. I do NOT suggest this product as this problem has been reported by so many users.

      Hey Alie,
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your QC35 II's. It is certainly unusual to experience this issue with multiple connections.
However, we would recommend for these issues deleting the pairing on the source device as well as the headphones. This will help to reset the connection with the source device and the headphones.
      Thanks!

    Not happy with noise cancelling

I purchased these headphones because Bose has a stellar reputation. However, the noise-cancelling feature is over hyped. I wear the earphones daily while commuting to work. I still hear passenger conversations around me. I wish I had purchased the Sony headphones instead!

Thank you for taking the time to review our QC35 II headphones.
We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the level of noise cancellation for these headphones, and would be happy to clarify.
The noise cancellation of these headphones is designed to cancel out and mask low-mid level audio that is often repetitive (such as air conditioning), but louder audio (Such as alarms) will still be heard.
The noise cancellation for these headphones can be set between low, high, and off, so please check the high setting to ensure that you are using the maximum noise cancelling!
If you're still unhappy with the noise-cancelling, we would recommend performing any updates available for these headphones and checking again.
We hope this helps, and have a wonderful day! bose

    Noise cancelling plus Google Assistant

These are great noise canceling headphone by Bose with Google Assitant built into it. The headphones feel comfortable as you wear them, as well as easy to use. One side has a button for Google Assistant and the other side has your adjustment buttons. With these buttons, you can also use Siri if you have an iPhone and wish to do that. The sound is superb of course, they are from Bose! While I was cooking one evening and listening to music on the headphones, Google Assistant told me I had a new message and asked if I wanted it read to me. That was great! So far I have not used the Google Assistant too much, but it is pretty cool! I usually listen to music through an app on my phone. It is really easy to pair the headphones to the phone. I downloaded the app for the headphones as well as Google Assistant. The app pairs them automatically as long as they are within 30 feet. Then I can walk around listening to my music without taking my phone with me around the house.

    Bose Knows Pro’s

I can always count on Bose. These are phenomenal headphones. You don’t need to drop $300 for performance that’s ultimately equal or inferior to Bose. I always peruse Sony’s lineup, and they’re legit, but I always decide on Bose. Their sound is richer, more polished, more robust. When you are purchasing a Bose product, plan on it being in your possession for the next 10 years, if not longer. My last pair of Bose headphones lasted from age 18 to age 33, and they still worked. The ear pads finally fell apart, but the audio was fine. I always like to spend less, but I would’ve dropped a few hundred dollars because music is really important to me. I got this unit on sale for less than $100. They’re tough, I skateboard and I’ve had more than a couple pretty decent wrecks that resulted in the headphones sliding off my head and skidding across the street. They didn’t even scratch. Picked them up, put them back on, and they were still playing CREAM. The battery life is almost insane. I’ve played these for sheez, so many hours that I truly don’t know the extent of their battery life. It is well over over 10 hours, but I really don’t know because it’s never been an issue. They play forever and ever and ever. They update you of the battery life every time you turn them on. They charge fast. You can get them back to hundred percent in about an hour.If you don’t have that much time, you can throw them on for 10 to 15 minutes and they’ll last for a few hours. My only complaint is that sometimes connecting to Bluetooth is a little bit frustrating. Often, I have to manually connect. They also announce anytime a device is disconnected and then the music cuts out for like three seconds. So when I leave my house it disconnects from my laptop and the music stops for a few seconds and it just really ruins the vibe. But this wasn’t enough for me to take off a star and this isn’t enough for me to dislike them. I love these headphones. Just buy them already. You won’t regret it.

The only difference that I can surmise between the QC35 II and the original QC35 is the addition of the Google Assistant button on the left ear cup. So, if you already have the QC35 I think it's debatable whether you need to upgrade to the QC35 II. However, if you don't own the QC35 then, by all means, buy the QC35 II. You will get all the features of the QC35 plus the ability to invoke the Google Assistant via hardware button. And, if the Google Assistant doesn't fit in your lifestyle, you can always reprogram the left button to toggle through the different levels of noise cancelling that Bose introduced in a recent firmware update. These are the best in industry noise cancelling headphones - they work great, truly cancel noise and are very comfortable.
