If you love them, you got to have them

I initially needed new headphones. I had always used wired headphones but working in NYC and being an avid gym goer I needed wireless ones. I bought these headphones roughly 10 days ago, and I LOVE THEM. HOWEVER, there are a few takeaways from these. First, the cons. For one, if you purchase the insurance (which 99% of people do) these headphones come out to be around $400-450. Yeah, not cheap. I do not care what anyone says, no headphones are worth that. But you know what they say, if you love them you gotta have them. Secondly, they are pretty big on your head. Yes, they are lightweight, however, they feel clunky on your head. So if you're a person who likes to relax on the couch or lay down in bed with headphones on, these are an issue because you do not want to break them by laying on them. Most importantly, the sound quality. The sound quality is great, but for the money, I was expecting a little bit stronger. Not crisper, but stronger/higher volume capacity. Lastly, the app is not the best. You can't really adjust the noise cancellation, or anything like that. Now the pros. For one, they are extremely comfortable, you can relax in the car, plane, train, etc and be comfy. Secondly, the noise cancellation is second to none. What a lot of people do not realize is the noise cancellation allows for such a more deeper relaxation. You do not hear a thing, besides your music. Also, very well made. You really do get great build quality for the money with these headphones. No plastic in them whatsoever, BUT that does not mean they are indestructible. They are not fragile but if you do not take care of them/drop them, they will get scuffed up and eventually break. Lastly, the sound quality is so crisp. No distortion at high levels, the quality is great, but like I said, I wish the volume was just a little higher. Overall, these headphones are great. I do recommend that if you exercise a lot with these to get earphone covers, so the sweat does not drip inside the internals and break them. In summary, these are great headphones. Are they must-haves? No. And like I said, for $400, if you don't love them, return them. Because for that price you have to love them to keep them.

    Great headphones for anyone

The QuietComfort headphones 35 II are amazing headphones, not just for someone like me, who is on the go all the time, but also for my dad who loved the headphones. These headphones were the go to for me whether going to the gym, or even doing some cleaning. I love that you have the ability to turn the noise canceling level up or down. The headphones are very comfortable as well, I even fell asleep with them on one night that’s how comfortable they are.

Best Buy had the audacity to ship me a defunct product. The right side of this weren't working and they know this was a common issue with this product. These line should be recalled and everyone refunded. I guess BOSE product has fell off and this would be my first and last BOSE product. I am going straight back to SONY. Very well dependable!

    Super comfortable and lightweight!

At first I was a little concerned because these headphones seemed a bit flimsy with the ear pieces moving around as much as they do but it really does seem to help with the comfort level. The over the ear cushions are amazing and super comfortable. I do like the hidden R and L on the inside of the headset so you know which side goes where instead of having it on the outside part of the headset. Very lightweight and comfortable. Sound is great, this is my first pair of Bose headphones and I was expecting a bit more noise cancelling but over all they are not bad. I also really love that these are cordless and I dont have to worry about another cord getting tangled up in. Sound is crystal clear and high quality. A good bang for your buck, I just wish it was a bit more noise cancelling.

Fantastic, detailed sound - with a smart button

I have been using the original QC35 since they launched, and I decided to give the QC35II a try because I'm very interested in all things tech related, and having a smart assistant at the touch of a button was very interesting to me. It's better than I could have imagined. As an iPhone user, I've never really used the Google assistant, but I'm definitely sold with these. It's a seamless integration that will read text messages to you over your music, tell you the weather, time, etc.. without having to wake anything up or say "OK, Hey, etc.." Just press the button and ask. I've been using these, as I have been with all my Bose headphones, sitting at my desk in my office. I can't hear my fan, the HVAC, or even my desk phone ringing if I don't want to. Sometimes, I just sit in silence, and enjoy the sounds of nothing. It's really hard to do that, though, when you hear how these sound, musically. They are absolutely astounding - A perfect balance of bass and treble, with sparkly sounding highs, rumbling lows, and extra clear vocals. Nothing is ever overpowering, however. Nothing seems out of balance. They are so good, you can sometimes hear the breath of the vocalist in the microphone in some songs. Excellent, excellent detail. I have yet to find any genre of music, or even podcasts/movies/TV that doesn't sound absolutely spectacular in these headphones. Even older recordings that aren't mastered well for today's audio gear are brought to life by these headphones. I absolutely encourage giving them a shot if you're the least bit into music. I guarantee, they will fill the void that all other headphones have left.

I bought the midnight blue color last year (no longer available) and love it. I really like that I can have it paired with my MacBook Pro and my iPhone 11 at the same time, or easily switch the pairing to my iPad. Here's my quick take: -Noise cancelling works very well - I can barely hear my cat with these on -Sound is really good, well balanced -The ear pads and headband pad are quite comfortable -The battery lasts a long time - I can use these for a couple hours a night watching videos for multiple days in a row before recharging -Only negative - it took me about five tries to get these to pair with my ION Audio - PREMIER LP Bluetooth Stereo Turntable I really hesitated to buy these at first because of the cost, but when I decided to do so, I did not regret it. I was able to get them on sale, which helped.

I tend not to like over the ear cans as my ears tend to get warm and uncomfortable after awhile. That said these are very comfortable. The soft cushion over the ears cups it nicely. There is some sound isolation just from them and with the NC on it really dampens most external sounds with music. The sound to my ears are great and up to Bose quality. Connecting to my phone was painless through the Bose's app. So far have no disconnecting issues. Sound quality is what i expect. Yeah, there are some audiophile out there reviewing these saying the sound quality is good but compared to blah blah blah....I can say for 99.9% of the people who uses it, the sound is excellent. I use it a lot for flying and it is perfect to drown out the hmmm of the engines.

I have been using a $40 wireless headphones and could not wait to hear these, installed app on my iPad Pro followed the instructions and connected to my Apple TV 4K and had to turn volume all the way up just to hear and there was no bass or dimension to the sound. Put my old one on with the exact same setting, it was day and night. I am returning them tomorrow and getting something better.

      Hi Harry345,

Thank you for taking the time to review your QuietComfort 35 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones II. I am deeply sorry to hear that you aren't satisfied with the Noise Cancelling ability of the headphones or the sound quality. I would highly recommend that you update the headphones via the Bose Online Updater as well as performing a reset on the headphones by powering off the headphones and then connecting them to a wall outlet using a USB charger for 5 seconds, once this is done please leave the headphones for one minute before powering the headset back on.

I would highly recommend that you get in touch with our customer support team if these issues persist via https://bose.life/2XnA0oS so we can look into this further for you.

I bought these for my boyfriends birthday at the end of September... he takes immaculate care of them yet they still ended up breaking. There is a screw connecting the ear piece to the rest of the headset (the part that swivels) and the screw broke. Apparently this is a known issue yet Bose will do nothing to correct it. We’ve had them for all of 5 months.

      Hello, Karaninxworld.

We appreciate you taking the time to write your review of the QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II. We're sorry to hear that they did not live up to your expectations.

These headphones are engineered to provide clear, immersive, and crisp audio. Using Proprietary technology that continuously monitors and measures outside noise and then cancels it with the opposite signal. You can also adjust the level of noise cancelling between three levels to better fit your environment.

We may suggest testing the headphones with different devices and music sources. Additionally, you may want to locate and adjust bass and treble controls on the sources. Sound quality may suffer if bass and treble controls are set to extreme levels. Try adjusting the controls to mid-range levels; this may improve sound quality.

Thank you again for your feedback.

      All the best,

      Ashley - Bose Support bose

I have, or should I say had, the Bose Quiet Comfort wired headphones and they are phenomenal. I give them 5 stars and would highly recommend them to anyone. However, the only way they could improve on them, is to make them rechargeable and wireless...and Bose did that with the Quiet Comfort 35 wireless headphones. This babies ROCK!...run, don't walk, and get yourself some!
