I'm starting think this a is a sales tactic. I spent 45 minutes trying to decide between these and Sony. I spent another 30 minutes trying to connect them to my iPhone. After looking online I found out you have to plug them into a wall charger. Speaking of chargers, why is the cord so short? It's less than a foot. Why aren't any instructions in the box for trouble shooting? Printed on the inside of the box is "download the app for setup." Too much dependence on a bare-bone app. The next issue I have with these headphones is the fact that the only options for syncing music accounts with the app are Apple Music/iTunes or intune radio and no equalizer settings. Bose went through all the trouble of adding google assistant but forgot about google play music? I have no intentions of subscribing Apple Music just for the sake of compatibility. Google play Music comes with YouTube Premium Family for less and I have been using it for years. What good is google assistant without the other google apps? Worst of all, they don't even block noise. My TV volume is on 2 and I can still hear it with and without music. Its like the microphone is picking up on the TV and amplifying the TV while my music is actually in the background whispering. I can overlook issues connecting via Bluetooth with iPhone despite the "made for iPhone and Android" claim printed on the box, apparently known since the first version after finding the solution, and the app being essentially useless; however, I can't accept outside noise taking precedent over the intended content. Overall, not worth the price tag out of the box with no ability to adjust settings to your liking and old issues. I don't normally write reviews, but this really upset me. I read other reviews and tried in-store before purchasing to avoid returning because I don't have a Best Buy in my city. The reviews mostly compared this model with Sony's version. I checked those out as well. Although, I felt the competitor did a better job with the noise canceling, the app, and the added hand gestures; the music did not sound great even with all the extras. Based on past purchases and in-store experiences with Sony, similar to this, I would not exchange for those either. Sony used to be my go-to for headphones. Everybody is charging premium prices for crap in pretty packages. This model sounded great and not too bad on the noise cancelling considering how loud it was in the store. It was tolerable but the set I brought home was quite the opposite. They aren't suitable for use in a cubicle shared with people who occasionally like to talk. Save you money!

Posted .Hi, Mehyatink.
Thank you for your detailed review of the QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Headphones.
From your description, it sounds like you may have downloaded either the Bose SoundTouch or Bose Music app, as these apps are made for our Wi-Fi enabled speakers that can access TuneIn Radio. To provide some clarification, the QC35 II uses the Bose Connect app. You can activate activate Google Assistant and then say "Play Rolling Stones on Google Play Music", for example.
We are sorry to hear the headphones did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback. Have a great weekend.
Best Regards,

Expensive but great short term quality.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 months short of 3 years and the battery won’t hold a charge. Love my Bose quiet comfort 35, but that’s pretty expensive rent basically $400.00 for three years use!

Was hoping for better...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this headset to pair with my peloton bike and to listen to music when walking and doing things around the house primarily through my iPhone. It is well build and very comfortable, even on the large head as mine. I really wanted to love it but from day one I started having issues with signal dropping out: half a second, may be one tenth. It will drop out 5-10 times per minute. Short but super annoying breaks. I am talking about walking with the phone in my pocked, literally 3 feet away. I have air pods and iso tunes, and never had this issue before. I did software update, and then followed Bose suggestion how to unpair and pair the device back. Nothing really helped. For the device of this caliber is just unacceptable. After a week I went back to BB and exchanged it for the Sony equivalent: WH1000xm3, it is not as well build as Bose, but it does great job staying connected all the time, I had the earphones for a week and never had the signal dropped. On the other hand the low frequency response is much better 8 Hz or so vs 20Hz on Bose ( and good luck trying to find the specs) Noise cancelling function is about the same. Sony app has the ability to control equalizer ( big plus). Sony do not have the high quality feel of Bose, but most importantly they DO work as supposed to. For me the primary function of this earphones to play music without interruption was not there. It could have been a bad headset. But at this price point I was not in the mood for exchanging them for the same item.

Great until they aren’t
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received these as a gift and they worked pretty well for about a month. After that, no sound. They are still in perfect physical condition, not even minimal wear and tear. I tried everything Bose customer support recommended as well as everything I could find on forums and still, even with a verified Bluetooth connection and verified settings they reduce no sound. All I can say is I’m glad they were a gift and I didn’t spend my own money on them.

Superior Noise Canceling, Ok Sound

Overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For this much you should probably be getting something with better build quality then plastic. Bluetooth range is absolutely atrocious. Low end definitely lacking, but midrange and highs are clear. micro usb charging in 2020 at this price point? No water resistance? The 2.5 to 3.5 mm cable is just an annoying inconvenience. Battery life is good however. Carrying case is good quality and convenient.

Posted .Hey,
Awesome to hear how much you love the 20 hours of battery life! This is especially great when you're on the go, and the included carry case makes it even more convenient. The Bluetooth range is actually 33 ft. In the unlikely event that you're personally not benefiting from this, the troubleshooting at https://bose.life/2XwmvR3 will get you up and running as intended.
