Great for music & podcasts. Not movies and games.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Other reviewers here have talked about the comfort and the features. So I won't repeat any of that. Let's just say I agree with any of the 5 star reviews. But it's time to knock 2 stars off. Here's why: This was my first dive into buying wireless headphones for my mobile devices. Growing up I had always looked up to Bose purely for their great reputation. I had never owned a Bose product myself. My personal opinion of Bose has changed after buying these headphones. Because they won't pay a little extra for the Qualcomm Aptx audio codec chip. Bluetooth has long been plagued with an audio latency problem. Have you ever been watching Netflix with some Bluetooth headphones and noticed the lips are out of sync? Or maybe you noticed it in your car, when you're safely parked watching a YouTube video. Qualcomm released a method of Bluetooth compression that allows for "CD quality" audio to be sent over Bluetooth. Coincidentally that technology also allows for low latency transmission. (its a choice/tradeoff). But since Bose doesn't wanna pay a couple royalties, all of their customers don't get this Bluetooth capability. No Bose nor Beats have this chip. On Qualcomm 's website they have a full list of every product to date that uses the chip. Like I said, I had alway looked to Bose for top end quality, but you don't get that here. Counter argument for the 3.5mm jack: yes it's nice that we still have the option to use 3.5mm for lossless and no-latency audio, but what exactly are we plugging that into?

Noise Cancelling Best I’ve Experienced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The noise cancelling functionality on the headphones are great. It’s pretty difficult to hear anything going on outside of the speakers - which is great for me. The volume gets pretty loud - I can generally hear everything when I put the headphones around my neck. Would be great if it could connect to Siri rather than only using the Google Assistant. Also it is difficult to understand the purpose of the Bose app. But great product overall.

Great in the beginning
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this Bose headphone when I first purchased it. The sound quality is amazing. Its very easy to use. And the holding case is great. But then I switched to an Android phone, and it was all down hill from there. The sound is spotty. If i have my phone in my pocket while I am walking, the sound cuts on and off or the sound is jumpy. But if i hold my phone in my hand, its fine. The bluetooth sometimes does not connect or drops connection. Then if I get a whatsapp message on my phone, it just keeps beeping loudly as the music is playing, even if I have viewed the message. So I have to turn off the Whatsapp notification feature on my phone. The Headphone works great for Apple products, but not so great with Android.

There are far cheaper and better option than this
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was extremely disappointed with this product. The sound was severely inferior to other products who are significantlt cheaper. The noise cancelling was excellent but the sound quality is crispy and the bass was so bad no matter how I adjust the equalizer on my phone. It’s volume was also on the low side. My skull candy crusher has a far more superior sound quality and a monster bass sound.

Great all around.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using these for loud outdoor work like lawnmowing, string trimming or chain saw work is amazing. Put on Spotify and keep on trucking! No need to crank up the volume at all. I bought a 2.3mm by 3.2mm male to male cable and used it with my xbox and it worked. No microphone though.I have not tried the microphone feature yet so I can't report on that. Can't wait to try them on my next overseas trip.

Excellent headphones BUT....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FIrst...the headphones are AMAZING and the noise cancelling is absolutely incredible. For that...I would give them five stars all day long. Battery life is also pretty incredible as well, I've had them for a month now, and have only charged them three times. Granted, I wouldn't call myself a "power user" on them, but even if one was, I believe they would find the battery life more than acceptable. Comfort is "ok"...a little tight fitting on the ears and would probably be a little irritating if worn for extremely long periods of time. The one and only negative that I can come up with on these headphones would be the Bluetooth range. If only Bose had put as much as one quarter of the research into the Bluetooth technology of these as they had the noise cancelling technology, they would have a set of headphones that couldn't be beat. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth capability is severely lacking and is quite dismal to be perfectly honest. If you're sitting close to the source, you will be fine, but even at distances of 10-12 feet it often times loses connection. I wear these while I'm on my mower mowing, both to cut out the noise level of the engine running, but also to listen to my tunes. I carry my phone in my pocket during this time and more times than not, it disconnects and at that point the phone is literally two feet away from the headphones. I can only assume that it is picking up some sort of electrical interference from the engine causing it to do this, but still, a more powerful Bluetooth radio would probably take care of the issue. Overall, I do really enjoy these headphones, and they are also great for making/taking calls on your cell...call clarity is great and sound is great for listening to music as well. I would definitely recommend them.

Good for what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are pretty good. I like the noise canceling on them. I also like that I can have 2 Bluetooth devices connected at the same time. I would prefer a better battery life.
