I listened to quite a few other "noise canceling" headphones and none of them drowned out the background noise while still giving me the music sound that I wanted. These provide both the noise cancellation and the rich sounds of every genre of music that I enjoy.

Noise cancelling works great. I can easily turn up/down the volume. They also work with my Apple Watch when I go on walks, but it took awhile to figure out that I had to turn off the blue tooth feature on my Apple phone for it to work without bringing my phone with me.

I cannot believe how well they have held up. I have used them HEAVILY for the past 18 months, pretty much daily, and they show now signs of slowing. The noise canceling is incredible. They block out 90% of jet engine noise / shop vac / barking puppy.

I’ve had the same pair of Bose headphones since my freshman year at KU. That was 6 years ago. I’m a first year medical student and pretty much study non-stop. My parents gave me a new pair of Bose for Christmas this year. There’s nothing I would have appreciated more!
