I’m very happy with my purchase! Sound quality is great and they’re very comfortable. I hear things in songs I’ve never noticed before. These headphones also drown out my annoying coworkers. With music at a moderate level the noise reduction completely blocks the sound of a Vitamix blender at full speed.

I bought my first set of Bose noise-canceling headphones in 2000. I was disappointed when after 19 years the head band snapped - everything was working fine otherwise. The QTC35 ii has better noise canceling and the Bluetooth is a great addition. I am very happy with this set.

The bass is thick and solid. Sound is crisp and clear. Once it connects the outside sound disappears. Tremendous product.

I have had the previous version of these and it still works great. I bought this one as a gift. You can't beat Bose. They are expensive, but well worth the price. The cheaper brands did not sound as good. I wear hearing aids and headphones in general will feed back when using most headphones. I had my audiologist make a separate "music" setting and turn the volume way down on that setting to stop feedback.. Then I turn up the volume on these headphones to compensate for the low volume of the hearing aids. They don't feed back now. If you wear hearing aids, you may want to try that. The only bad note is not about the Bose headphones, but unfortunately a new Samsung TV I bought, the bluetooth on the TV did not work properly with both of the Bose headphones. I replaced the Samsung with a Sony and have no problem now. I found out that this bluetooth problem is common with the new Samsung TVs.

I really wanted to like them, but...

I've been a fan of Bose since the first moment I tried them out (about 12 years ago). I've purchased numerous products from them, but my favorite product line is the QuietComfort (QC for short). I started with the QC2, then later on I upgraded to the QC3 with the built-in battery. After having some battery problems (because it was a proprietary battery/charger), I decided removable batteries were the way to go for me, so I switched to the QC15 headphones, which were amazing (and are still my favorite Bose headphones). But then my new phone didn't have a headphone jack and I kept misplacing the 3.5mm headphone adapter, so I decided it was time to cave and switch to some bluetooth headphones. Naturally, I thought of Bose's QuietComfort bluetooth headphones, the QC35 (which is what this review is about), so I went down to Best Buy and bought myself a pair. Upon opening them, I realized the QC35 was going to be a little different. Below are my notes: Pros: - Same design/form factor as older QuietComfort Around Ear headphones - Nice carrying case - The built-in microphone for making phone calls (and the Google Personal Assistant) is very clear for the person you are talking to Cons: - Heavier than older QuietComfort headsets I have used (QC2, QC3, QC15) - Tighter head band, which has a better grip, but hurt my skull and gave me headaches every time I wore them - The app allows you to connect to two bluetooth devices at a time, but I noticed that I would have to manually disconnect the one I didn't want to listen on. For example, if I was switching from Spotify (on my phone) to Spotify (on my computer), I would have the headphones connected to both my computer and phone (via bluetooth). But if I stopped the audio on the bluetooth connection it had been playing through (my phone) and then I start playing the audio on the new bluetooth connection (my computer), the headphones would stay silent until I opened the app and manually disconnected the phone, upon which the headphones would turn the volume to 100% and then start playing the music from my computer, thus startling me and probably damaging my ear drums in the process - Higher level of noise cancelling functionality hurt my ear drums (it was like a vacuum was being turned on in my head), which leads to my next complaint: - After turning the noise cancelling down to a lower level that didn't hurt my ears, the next time I turned on the headphones they default back to the highest level of noise cancelling, thus forcing me to change it EVERY SINGLE TIME I turned on the headphones (which was quite a few times throughout the day) - The Google Assistant functionality has a lot of potential, but when I asked it to play an album or playlist, it would only pull that page up on my phone, but wouldn't start playing it. Even when I asked it to "press play", it responded saying that it couldn't play the songs and I would have to manually press the play button. Now this doesn't seem like a big deal, since that's what I'm used to, but the whole point of the Google Personal Assistant is to be able to do everything with only voice commands Conclusion: As the review title says, I really wanted to like these headphones, but they are just not right for me. Even if the vast majority of the problems I encountered were just software glitches that they can fix in the future, I'm not willing to wait months/years for them to fix the problems when I am paying a premium price for what should be a premium product. In the end, I had these headphones for about two weeks before returning them. I gave them numerous tries and was continuously reminded that they were not going to work for me. In the end, I switched to Sony's comparable pair of headphones, the WH1000XM2. While the Sony bluetooth headphones also have some software problems, they are at least comfortable to wear and don't give me headaches, so they'll have to do.

These weren't cheap, that's for sure but they truly are noise canceling. When you have your music on, you hear nothing around you. And they are super comfortable. The most comfortable headphones I've ever tried on, to be honest. And the sound is excellent and super clear. Def recommend, cost and all.

I bought these for myself and use them nearly everyday. Great for travel as they block out most of the noise from the travel cabin. At home use them at the gym and the battery last more than a week. I have been recharging them once a week. I use them at the gym for 2.5 hours a day. No problems and easy set up.

These connected to my iPhone easily and worked for the entire 9 hour flight. They cancelled enough noise that I almost slept through meal service and had to remove them to hear the flight attendant. The fit was comfortable even going over my stud earrings without pressing them against my head.

I have been a loyal Bose customer for a number of years now. I've been patiently waiting to upgrade from my older QC headphones to these. Not only are they fantastic and reproduce sound as one would expect, but I found them to be quite comfortable to wear and no cords means more freedom. Worth every penny!!

I love Bose and these headphones work great, but as a wireless you really need to be close to your electronics - if you walk away it starts to break up fairly quickly...I can go about 10-15 feet away and that's it (unlike my wireless Airpods that allow me to walk all over the house). They are very comfortable! I love the soft leather ear pads. I have a wired pair (3 years old), too and these are newer and I think the sound is even better!

Very nice noise canceling headphones. Only negative is that it's a bit wide for my head but that's a very small drawback compared with the quality of sound coming from the headphones. It's comfortable on the ears because of the ample amount of foam used. Button locations are a little cumbersome to find but since most, if not all the functions are operated by the app it's not a big deal. For me it's been a very good purchase especially at the sale price of $199.
