Looks: out the box, I'm amazed at how slim they reduced the case too be with the headphones and wires inside. will make for a much easy travel in my purse or backpack. when i opened it, and put them on, they felt good and covered my entire ear. all of the leather is really soft and the plastic seems strong. Sound: i immediately turned them in. so easy i didn't read the manual for that. paired with my cellphone in less than a minute. cranked up some R&B and was astonished at the sound quality. the bass was incredible and yes, it cancelled the noise of my a/c and tv. my hubby was talking to me, right next to me and i didn't even know it. Right out of the box i could use them, came with 70% battery and i knew that because of the bose app i downloaded (paired with these headphones) which can be controlled partially by the this app. Not really a fan of having to turn the headphones to start the true noise canceling feature but i'll live. these headphones are lightweight and work fantastic. i think i've found my new all purpose headphones (travel, work and etc) i have tried others but none compare currently. Great job Bose

The Best Headphones Get Even Better

As a frequent traveler and a longtime user of Bose QuietComfort headphones, I was very excited to learn that Bose was finally bringing wireless capabilities to its QuietComfort line with this QC35 model. Bose's legendary noise-canceling technology is now free of wires, yet continues to deliver the same stellar performance that I've grown to love. OVERVIEW: - Setup is incredibly simple, especially if you download the Bose Connect app to your smartphone. Simply turn on the headphones, enable Bluetooth on your device, and complete the pairing process. You will hear a voice from the headphones confirm that pairing was successful. - Two devices can be connected to the headphones via Bluetooth at the same time. Use the Bose Connect app or toggle the power switch on the headphones to switch between devices. - Volume and function controls are built directly into the headphones (on the right ear cup. You can easily move between songs, pause playback, or even enable Siri with the function button. - There is a built-in, rechargeable battery. Gone are the days of having to carry around spare AAA batteries. The battery can be recharged with the included micro-USB cable. GOOD: - Again, dead-simple setup. I would highly recommend using the Bose Connect app to manage all of the Bluetooth devices that you connect to your headphones. - Great battery life. Bose claims that a single charge will power the headphones for 20 hours, and that seems accurate to me. Over Memorial Day weekend, the headphones lasted me two 4-hour flights, plus a few hours spent sitting in the airport each way. By the end of the weekend, I still had over 30% battery remaining. - Nice wireless range. I don't lose connection to my iPhone until I'm almost 40 feet from it. Range should be more than adequate for anyone. - You can still connect these headphones to any device with a standard 3.5mm audio jack. Bose has included a standard 3.5mm audio cable that connects easily to the headphones. - The built-in microphone and volume/function controls work seamlessly with iOS devices. You can use Siri, make phone calls, and control your music without ever touching your iPhone. - Light yet sturdy construction. They are extremely comfortable to wear for long stretches of time, yet the overall build quality still feels very substantial. If you've ever used or tried on a pair of QC25s, you'll feel right at home. - Of course, the noise-canceling technology is just as good, if not better, than it's ever been. The headphones canceled out all traces of engine noise and crying babies during my two recent 4-hour flights. - I'm certainly no audiophile, but the sound quality is excellent for me. Vocals are crisp and clear, bass is rich and deep. Volume gets plenty loud if you really want to give your ear drums a work-out. COULD BE BETTER: - The included carrying case is nice, but it feels a bit cheaper or flimsier compared to the case for my QC25 headphones. Time will tell how this case holds up, but I'm sure it will be fine for throwing in a carry-on bag. BAD: - Nothing. OVERALL: That's right, I have nothing bad to say about these headphones. Bose has hit another home run with the QuietComfort 35 headphones. For frequent travelers, or for those who simply like to enjoy their music/audio in peace and quiet, you won't find anything better. I'm sure there are other headphones on the market that audiophiles will point to with "better" sound quality, but that's not what I was in the market for. The QuietComfort headphones have always delivered an all-around complete package: excellent sound quality, design, function controls, and industry-leading noise-cancellation. And now, finally, this is all available without a wire hanging down your side. HIGHLY recommended.

The Bose - QuietComfort® 35 wireless headphones. What can I say. I have been a fan of Bose for many years and they did not disappoint with this purchase. Absolutely one of the best, if not the best noise cancelling headphones on the market today. Also you get the Bose sound quality when playing music. 5 stars all the way.

From the moment you pick up the package you are in love. The packaging is clean and elegant and has a nice heavy feel to it. You can only imagine the good stuff inside. As you pull out the inner box you are treated to a wonderful unwrapping. The headphones are neatly folded into a nice firm leather case. As you unpack the headphones you are hoping there is some decent battery life so you can immediately experience nirvana. I've had many different sets of headphones in my life but nothing like these. I now understand what is meant by Noise Cancelling Headphones. Once you turn them on, the Noise Cancelling feature is also on. You slip them over your ears and if you are old enough to remember the bath soap commercial, "Calgon, take me away". All the sounds around you become pretty much a distant memory. It's a sign of things to come. Turn on your favorite music and that's all you'll hear. Absolutely wonderful. Now that I'm back to reality, let's talk about what you are purchasing. The best feature as my title implies, is that the packaging says Wireless Headphones but in fact they are Wired headphones also! They come with a 5 foot cable that you can plug in to the headphones on one side and your device on the other. It's brilliant! My wife has an original iPod and it doesn't have Bluetooth. Now she can plug in to listen on the iPod and then unplug and go wireless while using the phone or tablet. Speaking of which, the headphones can pair and remember up to 8 different devices! For a tech saavy family like ours that's a nice feature. The headphones have a really nice folding pattern. I have a different set of Bose that fold but they aren't nearly as clean as these. The headphones are "over the ear" vs. "on the ear". The headphones have a hole surrounded by rich padding so your ear fits inside. This allows you to wear them for hours in comfort. The cutout is large enough to fit my ears, and I'm over 6' tall, but they are also comfortable enough for my 5' wife to enjoy as well. The controls are simple. I mean really simple. You have a power on/off switch, volume up/down and a single button that handles play/pause/skip. That's it. There is a cavaet though. The Volume and Play button only work when connected via Bluetooth. Seems to make perfect sense to me. How would an old device like an iPod understand functionality through the headphone port? As for the sound, it seems top notch. You get plenty of thump on the low end and the highs seem high enough for me. Because of the Noise Cancelling feature, you hear every drum beat, every cymbal, every lick on the guitar, every sound of a sword being pulled from it's sheath, every footstep in a horror movie. Well, you get the point. It's immersive. The battery life is wonderful. You don't get just a couple of hours on a charge. You get way more than a dozen! Speaking of charging, it has a built-in rechargeable battery. Plug it in using the provided USB micro cable or use your own. When you turn on the headphones, a nice lady tells you the remaining battery percentage so you won't be surprised. Connecting the headphones to your device wirelessly is simple. Turn on the headphones. The nice lady says they are ready to pair. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device. Select the Bose Headphones device. A couple of seconds later you are paired. Enjoy! I notice no difference between the performance when wireless vs. wired. I was able to easily walk 15 to 20 feet away from my device before they started to lose a bit of connection. It's possible there are better headphones available but I can't imagine what else they bring to the table. I'm absolutely thrilled with the performance and comfort of these.

I am blown away by these headphones! It's amazing how it silences my environment when I have these on, either watching a movie or some youtube video. The noise cancelling feature is my fave and definitely worth the price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that after a few hours, the headphones become a bit heavy and warm. Maybe I'm just not used to wearing headphones for a long period of time, I think they get pretty warm and need to give my ears a break. Otherwise, highly recommend these!

These are the best headphones I've ever owned. The noice cancellation is amazing, white noise disappears completely. Office Voices are muted tremendously and once the music starts it's the only thing you hear.

The Bose QC35 Active Noise Canceling (ANC) headphones are still setting the standard in the industry when it comes to quality. The main issues that stood in the way before were the howling outside wind noise that plagued this model, and no way to control the amount of ANC there was being emitted, and both of those were resolved by using the Bose Connect app, with the latest firmware update.

These headphones are giving out a truly Impressive sound! You will rediscover your music collection again with these! Crystal clear performance, noticeable bass, spot on pitch, consistent over the whole frequency range. You need to hear it! Overall - great design, they fit comfortable, I wear glasses and usually somewhat uncomfortable with over the ear headphones, these are a good exception - no discomfort at all! Headphones are more heavy since they have a rechargeable battery in them - 8.4oz but I was able to get used to them quickly. Controls - right ear cup has an on/off/bluetooth switch and 3 control buttons - stop/pause/next/previous, volume up, volume down. Control buttons only work in Bluetooth mode, they will not control anything if you plug in the headphones with the included audio cable (3.5mm jack to 2.5mm jack, 4ft, plugs into the left ear cup). Audio cable connection works even the battery is completely dead, so it's a nice backup way! Airline adapter is included as well. On/Off/Bluetooth button could also be used to pair the headphones with the different source (sliding into the Bluetooth position switches the sources, holding in that position turns the pairing mode on). Noise cancelling feature - works real great in the environment it was designed for - airplane. But there are many other noisy environments these headphones would silence, I tested these with my noisy vacuum and was really pleased, headphones removed about 80% of the noise. I still could hear the vacuum a little bit so I knew it was working but not more than that. I would like to note that when connected via the audio cable - you can turn the noise cancelling feature on or off (just by turning the headphones on or off) but you can not control the level of noise cancelling. It's either On or Off. Sound does change with the feature turned on, I feel like the range gets reduced a bit, so if you want a pure unprocessed sound - you'll need to keep the noise cancelling off. I guess it's an acceptable price for the silence. When first paired with the phone or tablet - you will be prompted to install a Bose App - called the Bose Connect from your app store, the app lets you control which devices headphones will pair to and select the voice prompts language (headphones announce battery level on turn on and bluetooth pairing status like "Paired to phone A"). Battery life - Impressive 20 hours! I guess that would somewhat depend on the noise level around you but that is more than enough for the flight! Headphones can be recharged with the included micro USB cable (1ft) using any USB outlet or power adapter (not included). I should mention again - that battery is not needed if you plug your headphones in and turn off the noise cancelling function. Headphones come in the nice semi-hard travel case about 8''x6''x2'' which has an internal pouch for the cables, slot for the airline adapter (included) and an external pouch for anything else, total weight with the case and all cables is 15.8oz. To summarize Pros: GREAT sound, true active noise cancelling that works, great battery life, easy to control. Work even if the battery is dead. Cons: noise cancelling is either On or Off, no way to adjust it, control buttons do not work if headphones are connected via the 3.5mm jack audio cable.

I've been waiting for a long time for this version of the QC line of headphones. I think they were good but not as good as I expected with the noise cancelling part. Sound quality was great. Bluetooth worked great. Again my only complaint was the amount of noise cancelling.
