While these headphones do not cut all sound out, it reduces the "noise" to a point where it is comfortable to hear the sounds you are wanting to hear. The amazing part is after wearing them for a while in an airplane, just how noisy it is when you remove them. You really do get an amazing amount of noise reduction and they are super comfortable to wear for extended time. Normally I am not a fan of over ear headphones, but these are just plain awesome.

Bought these for air travel. Wireless is the way to go. Good, quality sound that blocks out everything else.

To be fair i received this product as a promotion in order for my honest opinion. I have never owned any other wireless on ear headphones such as the beats by dre, etc., so i cannot compare to other headphones. As a standalone item, here's my opinon. These are very comfortable. Not sure of the material the ear cushions are mad of, but it is very relaxing and comfortable. Out of the box i had these setup and connected by Bluetooth to my iphone in 5 minutes. These say they are compatible for iPhone, and Android. Compatible with Bluetooth and Bluetooth NFC if your device supports it. As soon as you power on the headphones, the noise cancellation kicks in, which is a very nice feature on its own. It says these headphones can run on wireless for 10 hours. The headphones came with about a 65% charge, and i've used them straight for about 2 hours. Battery has only dropped about 5%. As far as accessories, the headphones come in a hard plastic carrying case, contains a USB charging cable (no wall charger), and a 3.5mm headphone jack cable. It says you can also choose to run the headphones with the 3.5mm cable instead of Bluetooth, but i have not used this feature. The sound is very crisp, with good highs and lows. With the headphones on, and my tv on in the background, i couldn't hear the tv. For my first use with wireless on ear noise cancelling headphones, i would highly recommend these. My only complaint, or question i would say, is that in the plastic carrying case there is a rectangular adapter, with 2 prongs and an airplane logo on it, that i have no clue what it is for. I looked through the manual and was not able to find anything related to this adapter. I would guess maybe it is for hooking up your headphones on a plane? But again, i am not sure and wasn't able to find what it was for.
