I have worn the Bose 35s in my office to cancel out the noise of co-workers and had the volume set very low and the sound quality was very good. Have also used them while mowing lawn and it blocks the noise so well that the volume can be played at normal levels

This was an onsite purchase; great salesmanship! But the second I put these on my ears, my life changed. Once you go Bose, you really can't make do with anything else. I'm a basshead and these are perfect; I often need quiet in my open plan office, and from the moment I put these on and switch the button, everything phases out. These were great to travel with, too; can't hear the roar of the airplane engine (and they come equipped with an inflight connector, so no more airline headphones). All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Thinking of picking up the wireless Soundsports next!

Yes, I feel like my ears are blocked initially due to noise cancellation. However, there is option to choose high noise cancellation, low noise cancellation and turn off noise cancellation. My ears just got used to the feeling and I love using this at my gym.

Why 4.9? Well, part of the reason for getting these was bluetooth capability. The noise cancellation is amazing, the fit and comfort are really awesome and the sound is full-on Bose quality. A HUGE improvement over my old QC3 set. So where's the -.1? Bluetooth. The range on these seems pretty limited compared to the old Smartbean receiver I used with the QC3s. Using those, I could get to the basement of my house, well over 33 feet away, and still pick up a signal. Unfortunately with these, I start dropping at only 15-20 feet, bascially one floor down. Fix that and you've got a definite 5.

Bose equals excellence. The sound here is spectacular. The microphones are pretty good for headphone microphones. I appreciate the long battery life, the good sound, but I just can't justify $380 (after tax) for a pair of bluetooth headphones. I ended up returning these after about a 30-day test (perks of being an Elite Plus member).

Very happy with these headphones. Very comfortable and long battery life. Noise cancellation is incredible. Bluetooth audio or wired connection sound just as good.

Have been a Bose user when it comes to quiet comfort. WIth the switch to iPhone 7, wanted a headphone that can be wireless and can provide the same noise cancellation, like my QC 15 did. This definitely does that and above and beyond. The best part is Bose did not eliminate the wire option. So travelling internationally if you have a fav show or movie on the flight entertainment, you can put your QC 35 on with the wires. Bose know their sound, though I am not an audiophile, but enjoy the pure sound that QC35 has with or without wires. No issue on Bluetooth drop, in the past 2 months use.

I found these more comfortable and better sound than beats studio wireless headphones. However the beats did have more bass if your into that. Not saying the bose don't have it just that the beats had more. Overall these were better, bluetooth worked better, noise canceling was better. And didn't my ears from beats shallow ear cups.

They sound amazing for a wireless headphones. Look and feel good. Most comfortable headphones I ever used. Battery last long time. Noice cancelling is exceptional.

Love these cans! Probably has the best noise cancellation for the pro-sumer. The bass isn't heavy, but it's just right for me. Sound, weight, comfort is all good!

I'll never fly without these headphones. They're treasures and worth every bit of their rather expensive price. Invaluable on the plane for noise reduction, I also found them comfortable enough to wear at night when trying to fall asleep in noisy hotels. Clear, crisp sound and a boon to someone like me with hearing issues. I used them routinely on tours of museums and churches in Italy, where crowd noise would have made it impossible for me to hear anything the tour guide said were I using only the single-ear throw-away plug in provided with the tour's transmitter.

I purchased the QC35 model to fill a multitude of purposes. I wanted a set that could be used for business and at the gym daily. I have absolutely fell in love with these headphones.. The noise cancelling is awesome on this set and the audio quality is second to none. I also really like the 20hr battery life. Overall, I struggled to pay the money for the QC35, but am so glad I did. Until this purchase I had tried many other brands all with problems. The bose really set the bar with the QC35 headphones!!! These are a must buy in my book if you are looking for the best!!!

Used the noise canceling headphones on my recent trip and they worked as claimed. Comfortable and long battery life. Easy to pair and operate.

The QC35s do a nice job of quieting down noisy environments, even when you don't have any audio running through them. What makes these a great product is the noise cancelling matched with pretty nice sound. It's the best combo I've used, and that's the whole point. They aren't the absolute best sounding headphones out there in the $350 price range, but they are the best combo of noise cancelling and sound in that price range.. The active eq adjusts based on volume, to provide a full sound independent of the volume. They charged pretty fast, and run a long time between charges.

Expensive, but these headphones have fantastic sound and the noise canceling is the best in the industry. They are extremely light and comfortable as well.
