These were recommended to me by another frequent flyer for overnight and long flights. They are worth every penny for being able to get some sleep on a flight. They don't block out all sound. It's more like they put background noise on mute so you can actually hear your music or when you just want to give your ears a rest from the loud ambient noise of the plane. You'll still be able to hear announcements and the FAs talking to you.

This is the most comfortable noise cancelling head phones that I've found. The padding is great and the larger ear holes accommodate any ear.

Love these headphones. The build and quality is much better than the previous versions with the cord. The battery life last much longer too.

Bose keeps improving its state of the art headphones. This is my third set after many years, and these are the most comfortable, the sound is excellent, and they pack flat. My only complaint is the rechargeable battery: if I forget to charge them, I cannot just slide in a fresh battery. Pity.

These headphones are absolutely amazing at noise cancelling. The best! And sound quality is amazing too. My only gripe would be that they are sort of heavy and slip around on my head when I move around with them. But otherwise, very comfortable and excellent quality as is expected from Bose.

These are great headphones! They are comfortable and asthetically pleasing. Sound is excellent. The Noise cancelling feature is beyond expectation. The only drawback is that they are not to secure when jogging and they tend to slide off my head when I'm laying down. Overall, I'm happy with them!

Great Sound and great noise cancellation, best I've ever had. Battery life is excellent as well. The only drawback is the Bluetooth interaction between Windows. There are few good articles I found but it is by no means Plug and Play. Once I got it figured out we actually quality continued.

My company recently switched to an open office format and i needed to cancel out all the noise, these are perfect and very comfortable.

I had the wired pair and upgraded to these. Well worth the money. Most comfortable and best sounding. Other brands pinch head too much.

This over-ear headphone is excellent. I don't like wearing over ear headphones because I wear glasses and they push in where it hurts over time. But this headset is soft cushioned and the spring action is also very gentle. I only wear this on the airplane and the noise-cancelling is amazing. If you have a music on at a low volume, rather than not having any sound, the airplane noise is hard to hear. You can really watch a movie on the plane.. The weight of the head seems a little bit heavy when you wear it for a while but it's not bad.

These headphones are awesome! I love how I can't hear my lawnmower when I'm listening to music. Only downside is the $349.99 price tag.
