Great sound and noise canceling, some problems.

The sound quality is much better than older models (I have QC15). The noise canceling works well with exception when plane is starting. There is a lot of cracking noises in headphones then. I might contact Bose about that.

I use them when I am using my ipad or iphone as I listen to audio books, watch YouTube videos, watch movies, listen to music, listen to prayers, etc. while my husband watches television or sleeps in his recliner just a few feet from me in the living room, Very comfortable and easy to use. I like the silver because I have so much black electronics.

So comfy but should lower to $199

These do most sound, especially if it is a consistent sound. if you have no sound coming through the headphone speakers, you don't have a sound-proof room. Add some music or other background sound into the headphones and you are blocking out most every normal noise that might be around you. This generation of Bose headphone does as advertised. The case that came with it is harder shell and does the job.
