||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was never a Bose fan - the classic 901 was bright in the middle, but lacked highs and lows - and people raved about them. But, Bose has continued to develop some of the most open, natural sounding small speaker systems. All the reviews said that the Quiet Comforts really are the standard. I have owned Phillips and Senheiser active noise cancelling headphones (non-bluetooth) and finally decided to treat myself to Bose. Sound is great. NC is effective. Controls EZ. Do fatigue my ears (physical, not the audio) after about 2 hrs. - get warm after a while if using over-ear - just moved them to on-ear (which is more fatiguing). Held off on Bose for many years - but I really enjoy these and have no regrets. I would buy them again.

I do prefer the material on my old beats, as they were a little more cool when working up a sweat, but the noise cancellation doesn’t even compare! We have a pair of noisy birds that wouldn’t let you hear your own thoughts, let alone watch tv...pop these babies on...ahhhhh sweet serenity. Highly recommend if you can afford the hefty price tag.
