I wish they would cancel even more sound but I imagine there is some safety issue with doing that. Luckily, planes are not nearly as loud as they used to be so not a big issue. I like the sound and have never had a problem connecting them to my phone

True executive headphones

Not designed for rugged use or sweat. Turning up the volume in a quiet room allows you to hear them as if they were a speaker if you don't have them on. Sound doesn't stay in the headphones.
