Pricey, but worth it. Essential for plane rides

Perfect for airplane travel. Even if we don't travel as much now, when we do we need these noise cancelling headphones to survive. Airplanes are so incredibly noisy I was finding I'd need to turn my earbuds up to maximum level to hear my shows. That can't be good for your ears. The Bose sound cancelling is top notch and allows me to listen to my shows on the plane at normal volume and hear everything. I also think the constant, loud noise of the plane is bad for your ears and even increases jet lag. I really feel that using the Bose noise cancelling headphones has eliminated jet lag for me. Highly Recommend. Only issue is the high price. I'd say start saving up for this. It's worth the price.

I compared the number of headphones before purchasing this one. I enjoy it while working and during my commute. This headphone is really comfortable for long hours, long lasting battery and charges really fast. Heads down to music quality.

I nights from home at a desk for 8-10 hours at a time. I was looking for a pair of comfortable headphones that I could wear for that duration that wouldn't press the arms of my glasses into the side of my head. I tried these in store along with other headphones and these were the most comfortable. I have been wearing them since I purchased them and I have no regrets about buying them. As a someone that wears glasses, I recommend these over the Bose Noise Cancelling 700 headphones. If I didn't wear glasses, I probably would have chosen the 700's over these. I hope headphone manufacturers start doing what gaming headset makers do and design their headphones with people that wear glasses in mind.

My wife loves it. She says it's very comfortable, sounds great and blocks out virtually all ambient noise. She's had one connection hiccup since December, but a phone reboot solve it quickly.

Bose headphones were purchased due to extended flight time during a recent vacation. The headphones were easy to pair with my mobile devices, comfortable for up to 10 hrs, and the noise cancellation was amazing. I highly recommend these headphones..

Comfortable, great on phone calls, and love I can connect to two devices at once. I strongly recommend these headphones. Also, very good when working out as they stay on your head. Also enjoy wearing while cycling.

My second pair. Bose has this product perfected. It always works and never gives me problems and I use on three devices. I was tempted to try the Sony however I’ve had issues with Sony and not Bose.

My first set of over ear, noise cancelling headphones, and they do what they say they will. Made a few flights with them, and the noise cancelling was great. 5 stars for sound quality, NC, and comfort. Won't travel without them now.

I already had a pair for me and liked them enough to buy some for my wife. Sound is great, battery life great, blocks sound. The only negative is all the sound blocking insulation makes them warm to wear sometimes but its worth the trade off...

I got these because I have sensitive hearing and horrible loud neighbors, and they really work. TVs, music bass, thumping furniture, dogs barking--these block it all out. They even cut down the noise of vacuums and lawn mowers from "unbearable" to "background." I can actually get some peace in my own apartment thanks to these. And while I'm not enough of a music/tech geek to know much about sound quality, it's way beyond my cheap desk speakers; playing any kind of music on these is an absolute pleasure. There are a few reasons I'm not giving them five stars, but they're pretty small. One, they're flaky about connecting to my (admittedly pretty old) laptop, so I've only really been able to use them with my phone. (And using the wired connection instead of bluetooth never seems to work properly--either it doesn't play at all, or there's a weird echo.) Two, the built-in voice that tells you about connections and battery is too loud for me even at the lowest volume, I have to pull the headphones off my ears whenever it says anything. (Like I said, sensitive hearing, so that's probably just me.) Three, they're actually not all that effective against airplane noise, even though that seems to be one of the big advertised uses.
