The hard wire to the I-pod created distortion, but I contacted Bose customer service and they sent out a new one. Now it works perfectly. The blue tooth is easy to connect to appropriate devices and sounds great.

If you travel and need to shut down all the noise on a plane these headphones will bring you the quiet you need. Sound quality is awesome and the controls on the ear piece are easy to figure out. The only reason I did not give these 5 stars was because the fitting was just a bit tight on the ears and I had to take them off after 30 minutes. However, now I have been wearing them for a while & that is no longer an issue.

I've bought both cheap noise cancelling and these expensive ones. These are worth it. I won't go cheap again. The overall silence, effectiveness, and sound quality simply beats other products by leaps. I would give 5 perfect stars if the top headband were more comfortable. I also think there is an extremely faint background hiss from the noise cancelling circuitry. Overall, this is a nearly perfect product, though.

When I saw where Bose had released a wireless noise cancelling headphone, I immediately sold my wireless Beats to upgrade to these beauties! Can't wait to them on my next flight. Bose truly pays attention to detail!

Got these for work and travel. The only drawback is that you can still hear some conversation. But with white noise or some type of music, you can block a lot out. Great for planes and noisy hotels.

The wireless part of this set is said awesome. The best thing about this headset is that i no longer need to replace batteries. Even though i use my headphones a lot, it takes about three before i recharge this beast.

These headphones are the best. I had the quiet comfort 25 before but hated that they weren't wireless. The wireless capability makes doing everyday activities less bothersome and the range for Bluetooth is phenomenal.

At first I was skeptical because all you hear is how great Beats are, plus the price didn't help much in the convincing to try out. I went to the store and compared them with the Beats. The sound is ten times better!

The headphones are top of the line excellent! Noise cancelling really does work on them! Sound quality clear and can hear instruments you wouldn't on other devices. The volume goes up higher than others I've used!

simply the best. great for listening to music and drowning out the airplane noise. only part that's not so great is taking a phone call in a noisy area. the microphone does pick up a lot of the ambient noise.

I got these headphones to use for a plane trip. These headphones did a great job removing that engine hum and other low frequency distractions. The microphone on this thing has its ups and downs. It would be a great feature if the headphone jack would have a mic attachment so that the microphone wouldn't pick up everything around. If you want to have a conversation with these headphones, stay clear from them.

These head phones are true to their description. The main purpose of buying these is to focus on reading books while traveling. These are perfect for that. I would definitely recommend buying these head phones.

Bought these for a recent plane trip and to use around the house. They're amazing at noise cancellation and play music great. My wife has a pair of beats studio wireless and the beats pale in comparison to the BOSE.

The price is a lot and I thought about it for a day if it is worth it. I have used a old QC 15 and it is worth the upgrade. Bose is just 100% excellence. I have used beats and sony noise cancelling and no other comes even close. The bluetooth pairing is unique and I recommend you connect it to a phone first and then connect other devices using the app. By far the best part about this is the wireless connection I love it. It does have some negatives like the range of the headphones to the device it is paired with and if you can only have two active device paired. The biggest advice I can give you once you decide to get this product is get the app it really does help with the connection and it tells you the % of battery and a bunch of other stuff.

I bought these to wear on the lawnmower. These headphones have great sound and I don't have to have the volume to the maximum level, so much better for my ears. The only downfall is, when I get off the lawnmower to dump clippings, I get disconnected. Five feet from my phone, and you get disconnected. Maybe I expected too much. I will still use these to mow lawn as I know these are better for my ears.

Gave these as a gift to my son. He loves them. Worked great on plane to cancel noise. Uses them at home connected to his phone: excellent sound quality, microphone very clear, and blocks out all ambient sounds.

Great sound. Distinct Highs and Lows. Noise Cancellation is excellent. Will cancel out ambient noise but still able to hear conversation with someone. muffled my wife's voice while flying on the plane..lol

The audio quality is amazing, and the noise canceling is second to none. Unfortunately I was not allowed to use them wireless on a couple of long flights and I did not have my iPhone 7's adapter cable with me.
