Been using Bose products for the past five years or so and have never looked back. Moved up from the QC 15 to the 35 and the only thing about the 35's I dont like is the case. But that's a nothing complaint. Go with Bose and you'll never be dissatisfied.

The noise cancellation is worth it alone. The battery life could be a little better, but over all, I am happy.

Was super excited about this purchase! Great reviews in every article I have ever read. But for me, I didn't like the feeling of total noise isolation. Kind of surprising to me but I just wasn't enjoying listening to music through them. And the lack of bass wasn't to my liking either. It was a goal of mine for years to purchase them and I was a little let down. I returned them. I purchased the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 and absolutely love them! But that's me.

I believe that the value should go down by now. I mean there's a sony head phone that's little cheaper than bose qc35 but when I compare with these two head phones sony has way much better noise cancellation. I'm just surprised that qc35 still cost same amount of money when it first came out. But I chose qc35 because of the design is way much better than sony and comfortable.

The Bose QC 34 series II is a slight upgrade from their series I with some very nice added features plus lets not forget Google assistant. If you have ever owned a Bose QC line or anything similar then you know Bose is known for their awesome sound quality and noise cancellation. Out of the box your going to recieve a typical carrying case, micro usb charging cable and a 3.5mm audio cable for direct audio connection. My one complaint right off the bat is the annoying charging cable that appears to be to short. The headset is not much different then its fellow companion in the QC line. You have a very nice matte finish with a very thick support cushion for your head and ear, after all it does have comfort in the name. And let me tell you this is very comfortable and hands down my favorite headset for long road trips. You'll find the power/pairing button on the right earcup, pairing is done quickly and can be accomplished via Bluetooth or NFC. Bose also offers a free downloadable app that allows some customization such as noise cancellation level, and action button assignment but more importantly allows for updates for your headset. The noise cancellation through the app only offered 3 settings, on/off, high, and low. On the outer edge of the right earcup is the standard three button set up with the top and bottom buttons being for volume control and the center button serves as a multi-function tool allowing you to halt playback, pick up phone calls, etc. Now phone conversation through the headset is ok. While talking through the headset i could hear the other person and they could hear me but the sound just didn't sound clear. It felt as if i was on speaker phone or the person on the other end was holding the phone far away from their mouth. Call quality wasn't that great so i wouldn't bank on making too many phone calls on this device. Now on the left earcup there is an added action button that wasn't on the series I line. If you use the google assistant app then this is where the headphones really take a cool turn. With the action button it is almost limitless what you can do through your google assistant. Pressing the button once will cause it to chime in and tell you what the current time is, holding it down will bring up your assistant where you can do anything from checking text messages to playing your favorite audio tracks. The design behind this is to be able to access your phone through google assistant all without having to ever touch your phone. Im not exactly sure if it will allow the same set up for Apple users through siri but i know it works very well with the google assistant. I took this headset to the gym to workout and i had my music on, in the middle of my workout my assistant chimes in to let me know that i had a text message, who it was from and then asked if i would like it read to me. I thought this was really cool considering i didnt even have to pick up my phone and could continue working out while listening to my text message. And yes you can reply back through your assistant but i was at the gym and didn't want to look like i was talking to myself so you may want to reply back normally through your phone. Lets talk about the sound for a minute. I own a few other Bose headsets and while their sound quality is good they have never really been to strong or big on the side of deep bass quality. This headset however is phenomenal, all my highs and mids were crisp and clean without being distorted one bit through Bluetooth but the deep bass sounded soooo much better then its predecessors. It seemed louder and deeper without taking away from my vocals or other sound. I could still very clearly hear my lyrics while picking up on my percussion, horns and other highs. I think things sound better because of the noise cancellation which by the way is something i like quite a bit. Some people think the Active noise cancellation effects sound quality but i feel it helps to enhance it. Think it about for a second, you have very little to almost no outside noise coming in to pollute the sound quality coming out of your headset. Now at the highest setting noise cancellation is almost gone. For the most part i really didnt hear anybody talking when i was at the gym, however i did notice it struggled a bit with the higher pitches. When i was riding the train to work, the whistle from the train seemed to pierce the headphones more then i thought it should of. Not a big inconvenience but just know your not going to get complete sound cancellation depending on the pitch. The 3.5mm cable allows you to hook up directly to your phone which then allows you to go into passive mode conserving battery life. I personally found this cable useless seeing as how there is no button to skip tracks and sound quality dropped drastically in passive mode due to the headset disabling Bose's signature DSP ( Digital Signal Processing). You would think the sound quality would be better considering your hard wired in but the opposite is true due to the fact it is trying to preserve its life. Now you get a claimed 20 hours of battery life and so far that seems about true. Im at about 15 hours of usage and still haven't had to charge the headset. All in all this is hands down the best line for Bose in the QC line up and is easily a no brainier for any music lover. I love how the google assistant almost practically makes this headset the first ever smart headphone set out there. Rather your an avid music lover or a person that loves to travel you just cant go wrong with this headset what so ever. Having an assistant at your beck and call to help navigate your phone all hands free is a big added bonus for me. Pros: -Superb sound quality -So far the best noise cancellation on the market -Great battery life -Google assitant -Great comfort for long listening Cons: -Very short usb cable -only 3 levels of noise cancellation

Almost too quiet. You will hear nothing but music. If someone approaches or speaks, you won’t know. Even with no audio, when switched on, you could no longer hear the wind and ceiling fan. On a plane...complete silence.

This is my third pair of noise canceling headphones in the past year. I started with Beats Studios, which are very nice. Then, I recently purchased JBL Everest Elite 700's which are wireless and also very nice. My first observation about the Bose QC35 was how lightweight they felt. They are incredibly comfortable and easy on the ears. Then I turned on the music and the outside noise almost completely disappeared. Finally, the sound quality is amazing. Bose has such a quality sound that is not too much on the treble and not artificial with the bass. These have become my favorite headphones. Superior noise cancellation, extremely comfortable and incredible sound. These are a winner!

I love the physics and beauty behind music...so you could say I'm a bit picky. I wanted a product that would block out the sound of noisy roommates yet still deliver an awe-inspiring sound - this nailed it. I definitely LOVE this product.

The Bose Quietcomfort 35 headphones truly exceeded my expectations! To begin, a little background. I have had (and still have) a number of sets of headphones & earbuds from some of the biggest names in the game. However, this is my first set of Bose headphones (But I have owned several sets of Bose speakers). These are without question the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. With most headphones you tend to get a bit of fatigue after a little while. Not with the QC 35's. Even though they clamp nicely over your head, they stay put without any discomfort and almost feel like you have super light pillows over your ears. The comfort was the very first thing I noticed. Even after wearing them for several hours I had no issues with the comfort. Then we have the noise cancelling aspect of these headphones. I won't pretend to know how this technology works, but boy does it ever work! When I first put them on I had the power off on the headphones. Outside sounds sounded as you would expect, muffled. But then I turned the power on (but still with no music) and you could instantly notice the outside noise was gone. Just dead silence! As soon as the sound starts to come thru the headphones it is safe to say you will not hear anything from the outside. I tested these while going down the road in a very noisy work truck (while I was the passenger of course). The QC 35's eliminated all the truck noise, wind noise and other truck cab sounds. I was highly impressed! Now as for the actual sound quality, well, these are Bose so as you can imagine the sound is exceptional. Beautiful bass with perfect highs & mids. I really can't imaging a set of headphones sounding better. I find myself hearing details in songs that I never heard before. A combination I imagine of the noise cancelling ability joined with Bose's legendary speaker technology. Of course with many of today's devices you have built in equalizers to customize the sound but I really don't think you will need to do that. Included in the very nice packaging are the headphones, a nice case, a travel adapter for airlines, a connecting cord so the headphones can be used as a wired set, and the USB connecting cable for charging the built in battery. This USB cable is my one and only negative. It is to short. A somewhat longer cord should be included but it is not a deal breaker by any means. Battery life is rated at 20 hours and I am sure that is accurate. There is a very nice feature built in so that when you turn them on a voice prompt tells you what the battery level is at. Even after a couple of hours of heavy use I still had 90% battery so the battery should really never be an issue. The headphones can be connected using a cable, Bluetooth or NFC. So far, I have used these with my Mac Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet and Samsung Note 4 phone. The headphones connected with each device without issue on the first try and have worked flawlessly with all devices. In particular, I have been the most impressed with the sound when hooked up to the Mac Mini. Also, you have built in phone connectivity for taking you calls when you have the headphones connected to a phone. A button in between the +/- volume controls activates this. Not a feature I am likely to use often but in my tests it has worked well. Bose has always been a name associated with quality and the Bose Quietcomfort 35 headphones are no exception. Without a doubt, these are the best (of many) headphones I have ever used!

These were purchased for use on airplanes. I fly frequently and often take a "red-eye" flight. These headphones afford me the peace of mind to get some necessary sleep that would be generally unattainable during my flights. Highly recommend!
