No bass
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not like the way these headphones sounded at all. It totally lacked bass, and I’m not even the type that likes heavy bass in my music to start with. These headphones were comfortable, and nice to look at, takes calls seamlessly and clearly, but that’s about it.

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Bose
Posted .We appreciate your feedback. While it's excellent to hear that you think the Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones are comfortable, nice to look at, and great for taking calls; my main concern is that you're settling with a product that you're not really happy with. I'd like to get you set up with one of our Support specialists in order to discuss potential options for exchange. https://www.bose.com/en_us/contact_us.html Rae - Bose Support

Comfortable, light and good noise cancelling.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BOSE introduced the second edition of their very popular QC 35's. From what I gather, the biggest difference is the Google Assistant/ANC function button. I didn't own the previous version of these headphones but I do like what I've tested so far on this updated model. ** Before I begin, I just want to mention that yes, the google assistant button works on an iPhone. It can also be set to only toggle through the ANC settings (high, low, off) After giving these a quick charge, I used the iOS app to pair with my iPhone. Sure it's not as simple as Apple branded headphones with the new W1 chip but those are very limited at the moment. But otherwise a dead simple process. The app even instructed me to do a firmware update. Everything went well the first time. The app allows you to rename your headphones, set the noise cancellation level or turn it off, set the new function button to invoke the Google Assistant or cycle through the ANC settings. The comfort of the headphones is very good. They are very light and don't clamp down hard on my very big head. I found the music playback on these headphones to be just OK. I know many reviews will state these are amazing but I have many high end headphones in my collection and I don't find these to be the best ever, not should they be at this price. I think the noise cancellation adds a strange artificialness to music. Especially when listening to speaking like talk radio or podcasts. When the music or speaking goes from full to quiet, the noise cancellation provides a strange effect for a brief moment. Even with the noise cancellation totally off, these aren't the best sounding headphones ever but they are very convenient and provide a lot of utility. Most folks will be using these on an airplane or in a noisy office where they are unable to concentrate. The noise cancellation does a great job of blocking out your surrounding environment. I have a portable air conditioner in my office which makes a lot of noise, even on the high setting the sound of the air blowing could still faintly be heard. After long periods of use, I found the noise cancellation made me a bit dizzy. I felt like I was getting a headache. I read this is quite typical for new users, some had better luck with other brands and some just ended up getting used to it. I haven't had these long enough to know for sure. The batteries last quite a long time. I was able to use them most of the week without having to charge them. The supplied micro-USB cable is very short and does not include a wall wart. The expectation is most likely that you will charge these on your desk connected to a computer. Overall, very nice headphones. They feel like a luxury item, the sound will be good enough for most and the noise cancellation is very good.

Incredible Sound, Excellent Noise Cancelling.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm generally an advocate of Sennheiser products having owned a pair of PX 100 (First Generation over 10 years ago) and a pair of HD 595's which I still have and use, however these are now going to take their place. The sound on these are incredible. I have listened to a variety of music genre's from Metal to Rap to Symphony based tracks. The resolution is just so good. I do think that some might be a bit turned off as they can be a bit heave on the low-end for the bass. I myself don't mind the deeper harder bass in these as it was something I always found lacking in my HD 595's. They are more for accurate sound reproduction of the entire sound stage. These do that but with some added oomph. Now I never had the privilege of using the QC 15 or QC 25 headphones, I can already tell by a lot of review's that I read on those, these are not a step forward, they are a leap for mankind forward. If you owned either of those and have been hesitant to spend money on another pair, go for it. These on the other hand bring a lot of clarity to some tracks I listened to even over the 595's. They are a tad bit brighter in the highs than my 595's as well. They also manage the mids very well and music never sounded muddled at all. As for the noise cancellation, I'm not even sure I can put it into words. You really need to hear the noise cancellation for yourself. These pretty much block out 90% of all sounds. One thing I tested against this is, I have a mechanical KB which is rather loud and very clicky, I get customers that comment on it all the time when talking to them on the phone. I could barely hear the key strokes, it was like my keyboards character was changed. For functionality, these were incredibly easy to setup. Bose has an app available for iOS and Android, I use Android devices personally. I set up mine through bluetooth and the app and they were ready to go in seconds and I was off listening to music. I primarily used my tablet for my testing. I was unable to test the Microphone as it appears the bluetooth on my phone is faulty. I liked that they came with their own case which has a sleeve on the outside and on the inside to store maybe a couple CD's or even an ipod or mp3 player. There won't be a great deal of room on the inside but you could likely store an ipod in there. Inside the box it comes with a couple multi-lingual quick guides and some information on their app. Inside the Box and the Case you will find a short maybe 6" USB to Micro USB charging cable, and a 6ft Bose Proprietary cord for corded operation. I believe this is 2.5mm to 3.5mm and can only be acquired through Bose for replacement. Inside the case you will find the headphones which are collapsible and an Airplane adapter. Lastly, these are quite comfortable. I never found them to be bother nor did they really weigh me down. The fit perfect on my melon head as well lol. If you're in the market for a quality pair of headphones that have great sound, comfortable, wireless and have noise cancelling, these need to be on the top of your list.

Really good! Just not as good as thought.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is pretty much the complete package, great balance amongst bass, treble, and mediums, and the active voice cancelation, well top class. Battery is solid. I was initially impressed by the sound quality and as I kept using them I noticed that without the ANC, the sound quality is just above par. I just expected more for a $380 headset(with tax).
