I bought two, one for me and one for my son, I definitely recommend them.

They have become attached to my tiny little brain. Great earmuffs when I am snow clearing with the skid loader (noise cancellation is great!). Fast charge. I have been using Apple air Pods pro and the only drawback is that when I take the Bose off, they do not turn off like the air Pods do. Guess I'm still trainable though.

bass and sound quality was disappointing, wasnt what I expected from bose. I had a previous bose head phone and the sound quality was much better

Plushier cushions, an actual ambient mode, same lightweight design as the previous gen, but not much of a upgrade overall. Still prefer the NC700 headphones from Bose over the QC45

Got them for a gift, and gift recipient stated that they are excellent...take that as you will, since I've personally never tried them.

Bose all day everyday. Anything they make has great sound. I will always and forever be Bose fan.

If you are going to spend this much money on headphones, get the XM4s. The app is 1000x better and you can adjust the sound settings to your liking and their sound potential is infinitely better than the QC45s...... Will be returning these as soon as possible. (Only) Pros: comfortable and easy to use... (Many) Cons: they sound terrible... typical Bose headphone sound - adequate highs, over pronounced "clear" midrange and absolutely no bass (embarrassingly little bass). If you have an Android, you can use the built in equalizer to make them sound slightly better, but if you have an iPhone you are pretty much stuck with the terrible out-of-box sound and whatever preset sound settings Apple provides. I question whether or not the Bose engineers even listened to these before they finished production. Wasn't expecting a whole lot considering it's Bose, but wanted to give them another chance and they dropped the ball in a big way... The app is pointless. If they would add an equalizer I'd be able to understand why it would be (very) necessary to use the app, but since there is no equalizer, there is no point to the app. All the app does is tell you the battery life and allows you to toggle between noise canceling modes (only modes are on and off...). That's it. That's all the app does. All of this can be done on the actual headphones. There is no auto-pause when you take the headphones off, no speak-to-chat function, no notification alerts or anything of the sort. All of which the Sony XM4s have (along with infinitely better sound, I cannot stress that enough) at the same price point. In conclusion, if you just want people to know you spend too much money on name brand headphones and don't care if they sound terrible, these headphones are for you. BOSE - Better Off (with) Something Else - has never rung more true.
