This is one of the best sounding headphones i have tried. The build quality is pretty good. They are pretty lite and can be worn comfortable for hours together.

Best All-Around Pair of ANC Headphones

As the title says, these headphones are the all-around best pair of ANC headphones available (for my personal use cases) at the time of writing this review. Read on for details. Background/Use Case: I've owned several pair of headphones spanning the bracket of Audiophile to budget (HD800S, LCD-2, LCD-X, DT770, HD650, HD600, M50x, WH-1000XM4, WH-1000XM3, etc.) and my sound quality comparison to these is with reference to many of those listed, see the sound quality section of the review. I work in an office environment and use headphones as a near constant part of my job. It's fair to say that I spend ~12+ hours a day (between work and home) with a pair of headphones on. With that background/use case in mind, I'll get into the details. Comfort: This is, in my opinion, the most important category for any pair of headphones. Headphones in this price range typically have drivers of similar quality, sound profile can be EQ'd to fit personal preference (Wavelet, Poweramp EQ, Equalizer APO/Peace, etc.) No amount of software update or EQ can make a pair of headphones feel better. For this categories, the QC45 are the second most comfortable pair of headphones I've personally worn, second only to the HD800S. Before these, my go-to office headphones were the XM3/XM4's, which I could only wear for 3 - 4 hours at a time before I could feel the padding pressing up against the back/top of my ears uncomfortably. These headphones are a joy to wear, incredibly comfortable to the point I look forward to putting them on and can forget I'm wearing them through the day. This factor alone has made them my pick for office use without a doubt over any others. Your personal experience may vary, I'd suggest trying them out in the store. Compared to their closest competition, I find the XM3/XM4 have far shallower earcups that are painful for myself after extended time. The NC700's are close, but have a tighter clamping force that makes them less comfortable than these. Sound Quality: These aren't an audiophile quality pair of open-back headphones, but nobody is buying these expecting that. Coming from listening to a pair of HD800S as my daily use headphone to compare to this, I find the QC45 incredibly enjoyable to listen to. Compared to the XM3/XM4, I find these are closer to a harman target curve out of the box, which I enjoy. I personally use EQ on all of my headphones, and comparing both these and the XM3/XM4 (with all three pairs AutoEQ'd to the harman curve) I find these slightly more enjoyable, due to the larger space in the ear cup giving a slightly larger feeling soundstage, while the XM3/XM4 sound more intimate. ANC: Truthfully, I can't discern a large difference here. I've worn the QC45 against the XM3/XM4 and NC700 and find it hard to pick out large differences. Each seems to have a slightly different sound to their ANC, and different sounds may be better cut down by one vs. the other. In my experience, they all work superb at cutting out the noise of an office, plane, train, bus, etc. to make listening to music more enjoyable at a lower volume. Battery: I don't find a problem with it. I've worn them easily for several days without needing a charge. I don't find this nearly as important as the comfort of the headphones, so for me it's a lower priority item. They have plenty of longevity to last many days without a charge, though. Interface: Physical. Buttons. Gone are the annoyances of cold weather mucking up a touch control's responsiveness. The physical buttons are easy to feel and discern, they work every time, they're a fantastic addition that puts the usability of these much higher. Look/Feel/Quality: They look fantastic, easily preferring the looks (subjective!) to the likes of the NC700, XM3, XM4. Their build is equally great, particularly lacking the "creaking" sound my XM3's made after wearing for a few weeks. Overall: Comfort is key. These exceed in that category in every way. While some headphones may surpass it with ANC/Sound Quality either now or in the future, the ability to have them disappear on my head is truly something I cannot overstate the importance of. I highly recommend.

Great headphone! My Sony headphones needed to be replaced, so I decided to switch to Bose. I love them! They are light weight, stylish, and the noise cancelling is amazing, especially when on a plane. I highly recommend these headphones.

I'm not a Bose loyalist, but they make headphones that just feel right. Just a luxurious experience on your head. Maybe not the greatest at any one thing, but sound quality, noise cancellation, connectivity and comfort are all very solid and make these headphones really enjoyable to use and wear. Battery life could be longer.

Ingot these for my gf and the sound will blow you away. Way better than my 1st gen quiet comfor earbuds. Down side is that the noise cancelling is better on mine since they go in your ear. But other than that theyre super comfy

Very comfortable to wear. Sound quality in wireless mode has excellent range. However when using with a wired connection the sound range is narrow and sounds tinny. Overall very good headset.

An excellent pair of headphones to purchase alongside the Sony XM4s. These headphones add a rich balance of treble and mids. The bass could use some improvement. For those of you who are music producers such as myself, these Bose headphones are a must have to analyze EQ during post production . The Quiet Comfort headphones can easily be worn all day to listen to your phone, TV, etc. These headphones are ok for a light jog but take them off if you start sweating. Overall, I highly recommend buying these headphones.
