However, Sony’s headphones sound better to me. I own both. I would recommend them. They last much longer than my Sony headphones.

Sound is excellent and the design is dated but if you plan to wear these for TV listening or longer than an hour, I highly recommend.

Outstanding Sound and No Wire

Having been so unhappy with the deluge of crap on offer it seemed prudent to bet on a known brand. Some outstanding qualities: great sound, including dynamic range, excellent noise cancelling, and useful play time . Note - no charger included. Get a power brick; c type USB.

I use them primarily for work (I do transcription), but also for entertainment. The sound quality is outstanding, but it's Bose, after all. You wouldn't expect anything less than the best from them! I am a person who cannot stand earbuds. They are constantly falling out of my ears and I find them very uncomfortable. I much prefer the over-the-ear style, so these Bose QuietComfort definitely fit the bill when I was in search of a new pair after my old pair of Sonys decided they wanted to retire. I am very happy with my purchase.

These are quite comfortable and are perfect for those larger heads. Noise cancellation is stellar as is build quality.
