    Quality nice Left ear only played during Audio books or sermons Aware of surrounding area, the button has to be pressed to used and it's just a quick weird 1/2 second awareness. It's not continuous. Noise cancelling was only PERFECTLY provided when music was playing. DOES NOT BLOCK OUT SURROUNDING CONVERSATIONS WITHOUT MUSIC. I returned to try 700. Looking for real good noise cancelling without music or while listening to audio.

      Hi there,

      It's great that you find the headphones of nice quality, though I understand you've returned them. The audio books and sermons playing from the left ear only may be app related if you're using the same app to play them, please check that the app is not set to mono audio.

      The headphones have tow modes, aware and quiet, pressing the action button once as per the user guide page 21 (https://bose.life/42CIntB) is how you toggle between them.

      Conversations are difficult to completely mask due to the constantly changing pitches and tones. The headphones try to block the majority of conversations via active noise cancelling, while having a good fit around your ears to help block the remaining passively.

    The QC45 is marginally more comfortable than the Sony XM4, with similar sound and noise cancellation strength. However, the headphones appear to be hobbled by a critical design flaw: inadequate RF shielding frequently causes a high-pitched static/crackle electronic noise when used in close proximity to many different types of electronic devices. The sensitivity to electronic interference is more severe than any bluetooth headset I have ever used. I am considering returning the item.
