Headphones can't hold a charge even when off. Fully charged, turned them off. Turned them on two days later and they were already down to 80 percent. This has happened several times. They simply cannot hold a full charge even when not in use. Very frustrating considering how great they sound.

Poor music quality

Despite the Sonys being 5+ years old, they are far superior, especially in music quality. Music is flat on the Bose (no highs, no lows? must be Bose), and the equalizer does not help. Music quality is superior on Sony. These Bose aren’t even in the conversation. Noise canceling is even. Outside noise (aware mode) is better on the Bose. Call quality is better on the Bose.

The sound quality on the bose is quite better but not as good for being headphones. Same with the noise cancellation, airpods despite being earbuds its way better suprresing the sounds from the exterior

They are sleek and feel light and good. The problem I have with them is that you cannot charge them while you use them. This is a pretty big oversight. Why would they make them NOT work while plugged in? That's a terrible feature. One so bad that I just boxed it back up and in about 10 minutes I will go return them and buy the slightly higher priced Sony version.

I have to use my laptop or phone to play/pause music instead of the headphones because is not in the instructions provided. Not very impressed with the noise canceling feature my phone ear buds do that way much better.

If you have your laptop and phone connected at the same time you can switch between the two using the power/Bluetooth slide switch (https://bose.life/36rkttt). To get the best from the noise cancelling make sure the headphones are adjusted cover your ears and leave no gaps.

I tried them both for a few hours and concluded to return sony. I cant explain in audio terms what my ears preffer, best way i can describe that sony headphones sound profile too "aggressive" for my liking.

However, every time i am listening to music on my smartphone (Galaxy Note 20) the sound/ music keeps on getting interrupted (connectivity issues). It is so irritating that i have decided not to use it anymore.

It's fantastic to hear of your impressions of the audio quality, but am sorry to hear you've had issues with the battery draining when turned off. The QC45 have a battery life of up to 24 hours on average, and drain should be minimal when powered off.
If you experience any issues pertaining to battery life, please try to unpair the headphones from your media device, then establish a new connection. Check the firmware of the headphones is up to date and ensure the power switch is in the off position when not in use.
