I am a little perplexed by where these are at the time of release. The noise canceling is on par with, and may even exceed, the Sony XM4's. The comfort delivered with these, at least to me, are much better than the Sony's. I can wear them for hours, while the Sony's start to get a little uncomfortable after an hour or two. I feel like the ear cups are slightly deeper on the Bose so they do not touch my ears, even if ever so slightly. The Sony's definitely win on adjustability and customization. The ambient mode adjustments and speak to chat work very well. They come with a full equalizer which allow you adjust how you hear the music. For these reasons, the Sony may be the better purchase, at least right now. I say right now because I am hopeful that Bose will release a firmware upgrade soon. I am perplexed because they did just release one for the QC Earbuds that allows you to set up to four different noise canceling settings to cycle through. But you can have only two, which is what I prefer, if that is what you want (100% noise canceling and transparency for example). I never understood why people would just want to turn off the noise canceling and not have on transparency, which is a common complaint for these. The earbuds also include an equalizer with a few adjustments to the sound. So, I do not understand how their QC earbuds can support these features while the brand new QC 45 headphones do not. That is why my hope is they will at some point. If you are on the fence, I would suggest waiting to see if that does indeed happen. However, if noise canceling and comfort are what you care about, you can't go wrong with these if you are looking for a new pair of headphones

Decent headphones, expected a lot more tho, with the size of the driver i thought they’d sound a lot better then any earbud style wireless headphones. I was pretty wrong, the sound quality with and without EQ on many genres and multimedia was jus jot justifiable toward $330 MSRP. The seal is argued to be better then alot of headphones but id say it blocks out maybe a slight talking level above some of its competition at $100 less, the comfort is good unless you wear earrings, i have heard about it before but it does sit on them a bit weird. All around, they are a great headphone, but i seriously switched BACK to my airpods max/ xm5 buds as daily because these are simply not worth $330 as alot of its competition is better imo, if you like a neutral sounding headphone these do preserve clarity quite well, but the sound stage and mids just didnt impress me, not bad, not great either 6.5/10

This headphones are amazing, pretty cool I use them at the gym. Battery last for long time, very comfortable, and the sound is super amazing, love the quiet option because of those Zumba loud music at gym, I don’t hear them and that make me happy so I can focus on my workout.

Not much needs to be said about these because they check of the boxes. Comfort, sound, battery life, noise canceling, ease of use- every aspect is on point. I wear mine approximately 5 hours a day at work and i absolutely love them!

Really comfortable...great sound...charge holds as advertised. Overall excellent. If i had to split hairs the microphone is not great...when in the phone i asked the caller..they said it was not that loud...sounded like i was distant. Connects to Bluetooth seamlessly

These headphones are amazing! They are super comfortable. The sound quality is fantastic. I am very pleased with them. They stay charged for a very long time. And when you put them on it explains how charged the battery is. My only complaint is the pause button on the right is not as easy to manipulate. There are three buttons right next to each other but not as easy to tell which is which.

The Bose quiet comfort 45 is worth the price. The earcups are soft and can be used without any discomfort for long time. The sound quality is upto the mark and is as advertised by Bose. It comes with a case which is compact in nature. I wish Bose can increase the battery life on their headphones. But the battery life is good and can be used for a good amount of time. The time it takes to charge is less as well.

I’ve enjoyed the Bose45 over the ear headphones for 18 months now. The noise cancellation might possibly but an uptick better, but! It is wonderful noise cancellation! Living in a city, and building, with high levels of noise congestion, they offer me a slice of peace, as needed. The audio quality with my preferred genre, classical music, is stellar. Certainly a great value. I bought another pair this day. Why? Simply to have a spare available to me. Enjoy the music and the quiet! One more thing: I wear these for hours a day. Many hours. The battery life is long. Way long.

These headphones are amazing! I have someone at my job that likes to "whistle while they work" and it drives me crazy! With these bad boys on I hear nothing. The sound is crisp and they are quite comfy. They keep charge for a long time and they are very stylish! I would definitely recommend these to someone looking for some great noise canceling headphones!

You simply can't beat Bose quality. This headset is amazing, it fits so comfortably I forget I have them on, and the noise cancelling function really does filter out the world around you! Easy to set up, easy to connect to devices (I use it on my laptop and my smartphone). The sound quality is incredibly impressive. I HIGHLY recommend this headset...its worth every penny!

I used my trade in value of my Quiet Comfort 35s towards the purchase of the Quiet Comfort 45s and have not been disappointed. They are extremely comfortable to wear and I like the longer battery life. To me, they seem to do even a better job of noise canceling then the 35s. The only negative comment is why Bose no longer includes the airplane adaptor and forces you to buy it as an accessory.

These are light weight and very comfortable. The ear cups are deep. I wear these in three hours bursts twice a night while at work and no fatigue. Physical buttons put these at the top of all other ANC headphones. The noise canceling works really well. I find that I never turn the volume past 75%. If you’re looking for clarity and not heavy bass these are the best headphones whether they’re on sale or not.

Great headphones, the sound quality on these is incredible. I like that the app allows you to control and adjust a lot of things. The battery life is very good and lasts for a long time. I've worn these out and gotten caught in the rain and they've survived just fine.

I love the noise cancellation. I was expecting a bit more volume and bass, but it's probably better this way! :) I'm also impressed with the battery life. It's so good that I worry about forgetting to charge it. Maybe the app could be used to give reminders. This also comes with a 3.5mm jack and cord so you can plug into headphone jacks, like on a plane!!!! That's amazing. My biggest gripe is that it doesn't have ANY sweat or moisture rating.

I purchased these headphones for the sole purpose of listening to the TV at the volume I preferred. My wife unfortunately is bothered with migraines and the TV volume never helped. Now I can listen as loud as I like and she is very happy as well. Sound quality is very good. You can use the noise cancellation feature or set it to aware which allows you to be more aware of your surroundings. You can answer a phone call as well if it's paired with both your phone and TV and the caller can hear you as good as you can hear them. I must say that to me they do get a little heavy feeling and do make my ears a little sweaty. The good outweighs the bad. Battery life is great as well. The charging cable could have been longer than 12 inches. Took me a bit to get everything paired using my sound bar instead of TV speaker. LG C2 TV with Yamaha Clear Voice Sound Bar. Happy with my purchase.

I love these headphones, and I'm glad I was able to get them via Best Buy, I've been so used to getting stuff from Amazon I didn't realize I could order it online and come PICK IT UP SAME DAY. Amazon was having issues and it was gonna take 3 days, and I needed them for a flight, PLUS they were cheaper! I'm actually going to start trying to get more of my electronics from Best Buy in the future, they've really stepped up their online game in a massive way. PS: I NEVER leave reviews. That should tell you something. Also buy these headphones I've watched reviews of the latest and greatest, my wife had the older 35 model and those are still solid to this day and she's had them for several years. So I expect to have these for the same amount of time, plus you can always buy replacement ear pieces and head rest when they get worn down so you don't have to replace the entire headphones. SOLID purchase.
