They are great. I wish the were a tad bit loader. But the noise cancellation is good, and they are comfortable.

The noise canceling is pretty good and they are very comfortable. It’s also great that they are collapsible for easy storage.

I received these headphones today to test thought the best buy tech insider network at no cost to give my unbiased opinion. I have not owned a set of music headphones that go over the ear in over 30 years, my last were wired if that tells you how long. I generally use bud type headphones. Now that I've settled more, I sit and listen to music more at home and I wanted something different to use than buds. The closest I've used are my rear seat entertainment one in my van, and those are nothing like this. The build on these are light weight, plastic, and have a soft satin touch with the padded areas feeling much the same. The plastic is firm and so is the grip/form is rigid. I would not recommend dropping them much from higher than a standard table. That being said, I feel I could jog or run in these and they would stay on and in place, mowing the lawn would be no issue. They seal well and sound rip is tremendous just by putting them on. They do trap heat a bit and my ears/cheek is a bit sweaty from wearing them. I have warn them for an hour here or two and they do well, annoying but very bearable. Battery life appears very good. I've checked a few times and I would estimate 20 to 24 hours. I generally keep my stuff charged, but 10% drop for 2 hours seems to be about right. The button placement is good, easy to feel and responsive and do not feel mushy, works well for volume and skip functions. Phone calls are clear. Connection to the phone is easy, and the bose app worked well, and talked you through every step. It took longer to download the app than to connect and get to using the headphones. The tutorials cover all features. Sound performance is superb. The "Aware" and "Noise" canceling setting are vastly different and the with canceling on, it's tough for me to hear people right next to me. I tested this several sources for music (cd, vinyk, cassette, mp3, flac, aac, steaming) and it all sounds good. I went a range of music from Beethoven to Tom Petty, Allison Krause to Metallica, and all is unparalleled crisp, clear, delineated sounds, and with video I get a sense of spacial location when listening to video/movie sounds (like the helicopter going buy in the intro to Apocalypse Now or the board room shootout scene in The Crow). These are expensive headphones, but for those who are going to use then often and take care of them, you seem to get what you paid for. I would recommend these.

I only have this to compare to my other Sony 1000XM3 headphones. I must say the noise cancellation is superior to anything else I've tried. My biggest reason for purchase was for the NC so i can hear my music when working out at the gym while they blast music very loud overhead to the point it drowns out my own music. These headphones are wonderful. The sound quality is decent. I was expecting much clearer sounds for such a pricey product but to be honest the sound quality matches that of my Sony headphones so this is the only area I'd recommend Bose continue to improve. So depending on what you're looking for in headphones, if NC is your #1 concern then definitely buy this. However if it isn't important to you, I feel there are other headphones that are less costly that will give the same quality for a much better price.

Ive always bought cheap headphones so I wasn't ready for this. These headphones are out of this world! They are so amazing and the noise cancelling is supreme, especially when talking on the phone in windy areas, or on an airplane, or when mowing the lawn. I seriously love these headphones. They came in the mail in great condition, and I have no gripes about them. Seriously amazing!

Overall really great quality headphones. I was bummed it doesn’t have a “true” noise cancelling mode as Quiet Mode still allows human voices to peek through. Noise cancelling is also only available through Bluetooth connection so aux doesn’t allow that feature. Still, I recommend these headphones as a great investment for sound quality and the noise dampening it provides. Regardless of peeking voices there’s a noticeable difference between having Bluetooth on with noise cancelling and turning it off.

Works perfectly. The noise calling feature is still lacking. You can hear wind gushing through the headphones and you can still hear other sounds when the feature is on. The battery life is okay, it usually last me 2 days, but the charging time to full is very short. Connectivity is also not the best, sounds get cut out from time to time. Overall it's good for the price.
