  • Static Noise after a year, with connection issues.

    I've had these headphones for almost a year, and the left earphone is starting to produce static. For the price, I thought these would last longer than a year, even with frequent use. Aside from the static, the headset will connect to multiple Bluetooth devices at once. I find this irritating at times because I'll be connected to my laptop and Iphone at the same time. I frequently get disconnected from my Iphone and if I forget to turn off my Iphones bluetooth, I can get outages during meetings. Essentially, the headset will say "Disconnected from ... IPhone", "Connecting to ... IPhone" and during this time I can't hear a single word in the meeting. I then have to hurry and grab my Iphone and turn off the bluetooth and even after that it's "Disconnected from Iphone". I've essentially disrupted the meeting because I didn't head the last 1-2 minutes while battling the multi bluetooth functionality.

      Hello, I am sorry to hear that you are having audio and connection issues.
      With the connections, be sure to disable Bluetooth on the iPhone when not in use. This will stop the headphones from switching devices. You can also clear the connections on the headphones via the steps found here: https://bose.life/3srGdxt.

    Had the QC 45 for a week and will be returning them... $329 is overpriced IMO for the lack of features that BOSE removed purposely to seperate QC45 from their premium NC700 line. Pros: light easy to wear + good for big heads comfort & fit... No one does it better ANC is really good soft ear cushions and roomy earcup design USB - C headphone jack nice case & fold up easy for travel fun & easy sound signature multi point Bluetooth pairing + BT 5.1 an ACTUAL on/off switch (looking at you Airpod Maxs lol) Cons: - Price ... $329 is exspensive when there are sales on Bose NC700, XM4s for $200-280 (some refurb) all the time .... $250-$279 would have been the fair sweet spot for these headphones imo not able to block wind noise well at all Base is very underwhelming. It's there but leaves you wanting more. missing higher end BT Codecs cabin pressure * Light buzzing/white noise feeling with ANC absolutely gutted BOSE App w/ missing features no adjustable EQ other then bad presets that suck. no adjustable ANC or Aware mode ... Unable to turn off either which is SO DUMB. WTF BOSE even $100 ANC headsets let me turn off hearthrough or ANC for battery. microphone is bad, like really bad the QC 35 ii pick up audio better due to mic placement or implementation... Not joking check out some youtube reviews or try yourself. buttons miss register clicks/presses 20% of the time... You'll hear the audible press of the button but the headset won't change over from ANC to Aware or Aware to ANC... Sometimes have to press It multiple times which is unacceptable. l battery life... (Improved but Compared to competition still lacking ) cheap plastic build quality & Cheaper fake leather compared to QC 35 ii ... Seriosly these feel like $50 "budget" amazon headphones you'd get from china. removal of Alcantara headband from qc 35 ii for cheaper leather

    Sounds pretty good, noise cancelling adequate. Worst part is the unmarked buttons that are kind of hard to remember functions.

      Thanks for leaving your thoughts on the QC45 headphones! It's great to hear you're happy with the sound and noise cancelling features.

      With regard to the buttons, some buttons serve more than one purpose (multi-function button) and you can't see them when you're wearing them anyway so there's not really a need for symbols, but the way I like to think of them as the 3 buttons the one lowest in the series is volume down, then the middle is the multi function, then the highest is volume up.
