|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from the sony m4s, the sony m5s, and then landed on these. the m5s are great. amazing headphones. the only thing they lack is aesthetics in my opinion. while some may not care for the appearance, i do. and for starters, these are very stylish and sleek looking. now onto quality, to compare these with the m5s. i found that these feel louder and actually excel in treble-based songs. i listen to a lot of rock so guitars are very high pitched; these sound beautiful and really keep the crisp sound of those melodies. theyre lightweight. they dont clamp hard on the ears. and they also have pretty good battery life. ofc, with ANC off itd be evenn better. very high quality, soft leather. pads are very comfortable. they fold which the m5s dont, making these more durable and less prone to breaking. they come in a high quality casing as well. onlyy thing i wish it had was some type of touch sensor on the ear pad to skip. but ofc u can still double click the actual buttons to skip. other than that, no complaints.

Immersive Silence and Supreme Comfort: Bose
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an avid music lover and frequent traveler, finding the perfect pair of headphones is essential for me. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying out the Bose QuietComfort 45 wireless noise-canceling over-the-ear headphones, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Let's start with comfort. The QuietComfort 45 headphones feature plush ear cushions and a lightweight design that makes them incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods. Whether I'm on a long flight or working from home for hours on end, I can wear these headphones for hours without any discomfort or fatigue. The headband is adjustable and well-padded, ensuring a snug yet gentle fit that doesn't exert pressure on my head. Now, let's talk about noise cancellation. Bose is renowned for its industry-leading noise-canceling technology, and the QuietComfort 45 headphones are no exception. With the flick of a switch, I'm transported into a world of serene tranquility, free from the distractions of the outside world. Whether it's the hum of an airplane engine, the chatter of fellow commuters, or the clatter of household appliances, the QuietComfort 45 effortlessly blocks out unwanted noise, allowing me to focus on what matters most—my music, podcasts, or simply moments of blissful silence. Speaking of audio quality, the QuietComfort 45 headphones deliver a rich and immersive listening experience that never fails to impress. The sound signature is well-balanced, with crisp highs, deep lows, and a warm midrange that brings my music to life. Whether I'm enjoying my favorite tracks or diving into a gripping podcast, every nuance is reproduced with stunning clarity and detail. In terms of functionality, the QuietComfort 45 headphones offer a host of convenient features that enhance the overall user experience. The built-in touch controls allow me to adjust volume, skip tracks, and answer calls with ease, while the included voice assistant support enables hands-free operation for tasks like setting reminders or checking the weather. Battery life is also impressive, providing up to 24 hours of wireless listening on a single charge, ensuring that the music never has to stop. While the Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones are undeniably impressive, they're not without a few minor drawbacks. The lack of aptX support may disappoint audiophiles seeking the highest quality wireless audio, and the carrying case, while functional, feels somewhat bulky compared to other options on the market. Additionally, the headphones are not completely foldable, which may be a consideration for travelers looking to minimize space in their luggage. Overall, the Bose QuietComfort 45 wireless noise-canceling over-the-ear headphones are a standout product that delivers on all fronts. From their unparalleled comfort and industry-leading noise cancellation to their exceptional audio quality and convenient features, these headphones have quickly become an indispensable companion for both work and leisure. Whether you're a frequent traveler, a music enthusiast, or simply someone who values peace and quiet in a noisy world, the Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones are sure to impress. Highly recommended.

Simply put? The best there is.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently tested several pair of ANC Headphones. The Sony WH-1000XM4s and the Sennheiser Momentum 3s and PXC 550iis, I was thoroughly disappointed in all three of those models. They all displayed broken connectivity via BlooToof 5, continually dropping the signal entirely or stuttering connectivity that made it sound like it was 1955. Their noise cancelling was nothing to write home about and I was none too happy with that (or the poor connectivity for that matter!). Additionally, the touch controls of these headphones are nothing but fluff and nonsense. In the real world tactile buttons are much better. Familiarity does not breed contempt, it ensures COMFORT. There is SPACE aplenty on each of these 'phones to have had real buttons that you can use but apparently these manufacturers wanted to be "cutting edge". No thanks. I have a pair of Sony XB950N1 that are vastly superior in connectivity and noise cancelling to all three of the models I just mentioned. They have easy to locate and use buttons too. And yes, I did any firmware updates that each 'phone recommended. The Sony WH-1000XM4 update was useless. And then... ...I bought the Bose QC45s. They work. They work as advertised. No problems before or after firmware updates. Their app works just fine too and works with my Bose Soundware Companions and my Bose Tempo Frames too! The QC45s have the best ANC available bar none. They have zero BlooToof connectivity issues (YES!) and they have real buttons! I have seen reviews where the person claims that the WM4s will block out a lawnmower. Pfffffft! That is a canard if ever there were one. None of these headphones will do that. I tested them with our Dyson V7 Animal vacuum and the remove the sound of the power head quite well but the motor itself can still be heard. The QC45 is better but you can still hear the vacuum motor. I can still easily hear my music when vacuuming but am more than aware a vacuum is running. LOL! Not a big deal and if it is to you, then you don't want headphones you want stickem-in-your-ear-plugs, LOL! Listen to music when you are done vacuuming. The QC45 is excellent when compared to anything else currently on the market. They have real buttons (easy to find and use!), are beautiful to look at, feel and look like what they are, i.e., a QUALITY product made to last and reproduce music superbly with or without the ANC on. I do NOT require 57 levels of noise reduction. On or offf is just fine. The aware mode on the QC45s does just that. It allows you to be more aware of what is going on around you. I did not use the voice assistant as I can touch the screen on my cell phone, DAP (Digital Audio Player) or Grace Digital Link (the finest internet "streamer" available and the most affordable too!) to make my selection(s). I cannot think of a viable or reasonable reason any sane (read: NOT a frAudiophile or audiofool, LOL!) would not think (as opposed to "feeeeeel") the Bose QC45s are not an excellent, quality product worthy of one's own hard earned money. Highly recommended? You betcha! Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'!

What you expect from Bose, not perfect yet…
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Quiet Comfort 45 are very good headphones. They have the sound you would expect from Bose that I enjoy (vocal and mids focused, not over heavy bass). The headphones are lightweight and comfortable, even for my fault large head. I could easily wear them for hours. Two caveats, they will make your ears sweat like most over ears headphones and I would not wear them for exercising and with all over ear headphones, proper fit is essential to sound quality and these will shift with vigorous movements. I love that there’s still a headphone jack for when you run out of power. Always a Plus! And I am still a big fan of physical buttons for controls, touch pads are not for me when it comes to volume controls. Tactile feel is always better for me. There are three negatives that prevent me from giving 5 stars. 1: There is no customizable EQ. Bose gives you their stock EQ and if you aren’t happy with that the only customizing will come from your device. A firmware upgrade to their app could easily fix this. 2: For some reason, Bose doesn’t let you turn off their noise cancellation. The only options are Active noise cancellation or Aware mode, that uses the microphones to allow you to hear the ambient noise around you. Both are excellent options, but I don’t understand why I can’t turn both off when I don’t need either mode. Again an easy fix with a firmware update. 3: Price. You’re paying the Bose premium here when compared to comparable headphones. Some of these other headphones in the price range have these features, including Bose’s own NC700, which have a customizable EQ and More direct Noise Cancellation controls. Overall, these are very good headphones that are missing some features that they should and easily could have in the future. I would recommend waiting a few months and seeing if the features come along if those features are important to you. If you’re happy with these minor limitations, I would highly recommend these.

Posted .Hello,
We're glad to hear that you're loving the QuietComfort 45 headphones.
The proprietary TriPort design vents the earcups to add depth and fullness — all without increasing their size. So you get better sound from headphones that are smaller, lighter, and more comfortable. Plus, Volume-optimized Active EQ boosts highs and lows to maintain the same high-fidelity performance no matter how loud or soft you listen. We appreciate your comments regarding the want towards a customizable EQ as seen on some of our other products. This will be passed on.
As for the Active Noise Cancellation, whilst this is not fully able to be turned off, you can take advantage of Aware Mode. Aware Mode brings the outside world in with microphones that pick up the sounds around you and play them naturally through the headphones. It’s your music and your environment at the same time. So you can hear everything you need to, but at a much more balanced volume.
If you have any other questions or comments, don't hesitate to contact Bose directly for further assistance.

Excellent Noise Cancelling Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is no pair of headphones on the open market that will eliminate ALL external noise, but this has got to be the closest that the industry has gotten so far. I thought the QC 35s had great noise cancelling properties, but the 45s take it to a new level. There are several things about this pair of headphones that are better than its predecessor. It's light-weight and very comfortable. It has a more streamlined design. And best of all, I haven't experienced ANY connection issues. The sound is seamless. Overall, I highly recommend these headphones, especially for people with sensory issues or anyone who would like to quiet down the world around them. To give you a better idea, here are some of the sounds that it can block out: Noise from traffic/outside (loud neighbors, construction, etc), most fans, most voices from across the room, tv/radio/tablet noise. Any sounds that do get through are incredibly muted, such as voices of people close by and microwave beeps.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely worth the money, I’ve used them nonstop ever since I got them. normally my ears hurt with over the ear headphones but I don’t have that issue with the quiet comfort. They fit comfortably around my ear and don’t push it back. Noise cancelling and Sound quality is very nice as well. Battery life is incredibly long, even when I used it everyday at work, i’d only need to charge it maybe once a week.

For Comfort and Quality Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headphone is lightweight and fits comfortably over your ears. When listening to music or podcast the sound quality is above expectations. The bass and treble are nicely balanced to provide live like music. The Bluetooth connects seamlessly. There is a button to isolate unwanted sound. The comfort level of the ear cups surprised me. The battery life was surprising. I charged it twice since using it for two weeks. Bose is known for quality products and they did not disappoint with this headphone.

Great headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality and very comfortable. I had a pair of QC 35 for a long time and was looking for potentially a new option. Best alternative after trying out several brands and found Bose to still be the best option. The QC 45 seems to be lighter and better fit around years, excellent sound (as QC 35 did) and improved software interaction. Great product overall.

Investment headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first-time buying over-ear headphones, and I am glad I got these. I do not regret my decision to get these, and this is thanks to Jada. Great customer service and I didn't plan on spending this much on headphones, but she reassured me that that even though they have a hefty price tag. They are an investment for the amazing sound and noise cancellation. The headphones have a beautiful packaging and come with a protective case that I can attach a carabiner to. The sound that these headphones is impeccable, and they are super light. I do wish that the headphones would not need to connect to the Bose music app, but it is cool that I can control the settings to the headphones in the app. I was able to connect them to my gaming PC without downloading the app on my computer.

Excellent - with a few minor considerations
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are luxuriously comfortable to wear, they sound excellent, and they have great battery life. A quality product. But because at this price point there are many worthy competitors, here are a few considerations that might help someone choose between these and some other brand of premium headphones that would have a different set of strengths and weaknesses. -Phone calls are probably the weakest point of these. The calls sound fine to me but people I'm talking to complain of the audio cutting out periodically. I have a set of Bose earbuds that are way better for phone calls than are these headphones. -I wish they got louder. Give me a nanny warning on the screen if you want that tells me not to turn them up so loud, but then let me decide, please. -I wish there was a little more treble. But that's just me; I like a brassy sound. -(A nitpick) Getting them into the provided carrying case isn't intuitive and requires you to kind of twist them into odd positions, which makes me wonder if taking them in and out of the case might strain the wires connecting them together and shorten the life of the product. No idea if this is true, just a thought.

The Sweet Spot in Quality Sound and Features
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are nothing short of spectacular. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of imagination, but know I prefer low ambient noise and quality in-ear sound. These headphones deliver exactly that. Just the right blend of features = tremendous ease of use; easy on/off, easy volume, easy charging when needed, long battery life. Pairing with a MacBook Pro, iPhone or iPad is easy, reliable and consistent. Some headphones sound good but feel awkward on the head. The softer ear cups of these Bose feel good against my skin, fitting the form of my ears/head perfectly. Because they snug up comfortably they're not a distraction interfering with experiencing what I'm listening to. The battery lasts a long time - although I only tend to use the headphones for half-hour/hour at a time, I can go weeks or longer without charging. The case is just large enough to easily fold the headphones into its proper configuration and tuck away safely. There's an extra foam divider provided in the case, I suppose to help protect the plastic surfaces from rubbing against each other while stored. I've done away with it, electing to simply fold the headphones and store in the case, and have never had problems with rubbing. These headphones provide a sweet spot in the value spectrum of other options: extremely high sound quality, extremely comfortable, extremely easy to use - and affordable compared to other over-featured alternatives.

Better than QC 35 II...Love these QC 45
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was waiting for Bose to put out there are headphones in the QC 35 II. People for years have been telling me you should get Bose because they sound way better than Beats by Dre, but at first, I didn't believe them, but now I do! Bose QC 35 II and then my favorite headphones ever since I got them about two years ago. And listening to them for months and months I was so addicted to them that I used to bring those headphones everywhere. They just made my music sound alive and more flats at the same time because I; a person who likes to research things, the frequency response is supposed to be flat within all headphones and speakers. But it's hard for engineers and artists to do that. And most Bose headphones are somewhat good at that and that's what they're known for. So after so many firmware updates to my QC 35 II, ANC, and a few other features and the sound quality has kinda decreased months down the road. And I had no idea that listening to wireless headphones wirelessly is NOT gonna sound as good if it was plugged in wired. WIRED headphones are going to sound better than wireless headphones because yes Bluetooth and Bluetooth weren't meant for sound connection when they first came out. It's kind of like you have a device that is plugged into your Wi-Fi and most of your devices are going to have an unstable connection, vs a device that's plugged in with an ethernet connection. The connection is going to be way more stable and faster and also better, ya know. No, when I purchased the Bose QuietComfort 45, I was hoping that these headphones will sound better than the QC 35 II, or at least have better features, and these Headphones kind of do have better features. The ANC is waaaaay better, like, I don't hear anything around me after I turn these on. It's like everything has vanished around me. And the QuietComfort 45 has a more clean look and feeling to them as well. Now, as far as the sound quality.. these sound good actually in my opinion, but to be honest...the bass is there, but all the way there, and to be I like it that way. People don't know that having too much bass can muddle up the vocals (mids). I've been hearing people say, "the bass is not that good, "I wish the bass was more punchy, and so, so on, but the reason is that you're LISTENING TO THE HEADPHONES WIRELESSLY. They will sound better and the base will be a little bit punchier when you listen to them with wired (audio cable). I love the comfortability of their headphone too. OMG!! I can wear them for hrs and my ears won't hurt as all. Bose has step their game up

Great Headphones, Frustrating Customer Service
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphones! As a student, I needed something affordable, comfortable to wear for long study sessions, and effective at blocking out background noise—and these check every box. I’ve been a fan of Bose for years, so I wasn’t surprised by the quality and sound performance. They delivered exactly what I expected. One Complaint: About a month after buying them, the Bluetooth started acting up. The headphones would randomly disconnect, and then this awful LOUD grainy static sound would come in and out like they were struggling to reconnect. I brought them to Best Buy, and that’s where things got frustrating. After getting the runaround (they sent them off for diagnostics), they claimed nothing was wrong. I had to push back—spoke with three different employees, asked for the manager, and showed them a video of the issue. Only then did they finally agree to replace them. Thankfully, the replacement pair has worked perfectly for over a year now. So in the end, no real issue with the product—just disappointed by the way Best Buy handled the situation.

Yep, It's a winner for me!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this headset. I never had over the ear headsets before and were skeptical about getting these due to concerns about ear fatigue, heaviness and uncomfortability for glasses wearers. First, the ear cushions are so softtttt, so no ear fatigue. The headset is a bit bulky but overall still very comfortable to wear. I didn't notice them on while I worked for hours. The sound is amazing and does great in keeping me focused. I don't really take calls from it, send to word and if feel like I'm yelling due to the sound cancellation. Every now and again if readjust due to my glasses but not much. The battery life is great at well. Since it's creme, I do ensure they stay clean. It was a bit costly but I intend to get my full investment by using it all the time. Love it!!!! Trust me, if you're on the fence. I say go for it!
