I use them primarily for work (I do transcription), but also for entertainment. The sound quality is outstanding, but it's Bose, after all. You wouldn't expect anything less than the best from them! I am a person who cannot stand earbuds. They are constantly falling out of my ears and I find them very uncomfortable. I much prefer the over-the-ear style, so these Bose QuietComfort definitely fit the bill when I was in search of a new pair after my old pair of Sonys decided they wanted to retire. I am very happy with my purchase.

A great investment for concentration and quiet

I use them while traveling and at home or work when I need to concentrate. They are a sanity saver - working on a project in a noisy airport or plane, listening to a podcast while mowing the lawn, or trying to concentrate on reading reviews in a coffee shop. These headphones are amazing! They offer replacement foam cushions and a cover for the plastic.

These are quite comfortable and are perfect for those larger heads. Noise cancellation is stellar as is build quality.
