So not sure if this is a defect with Android devices I've downloaded the Bose app to activate noise cancellation and I still have people complaining when on the phone with about the background noise.

I was looking for the noise cancelling capabilities and smaller earbud units. These QC IIs are fantastic meeting all of my needs. I use them for work on phone and video calls, for my daily jogs, and on the golf course. They are comfortable, pair easy with my Android phone and laptop, and have fantastic sound. Being a long-time Bose fan, I enjoy the quality of the sound. And now with ANC they are a step up!!

I returned those in exchange for the Bose ear buds. Much more easy to wear for myself comfort wise. Not as easy to control as the headphones but I am happy. I use them only for the TV at times if I want my volume higher than my wife. Happy wife happy life.

I never really liked Bose, but these ones are great quality, comfortable, and have a decent battery life. You can also change the EQ, which is a nice feature. I don’t think you can use the left earbud without the right, though, which is unfortunate(unless I’m doing something wrong). That is not enough to deduct a star, however. Great earbuds!

However, for talking on phone calls they are not as good as AirPods. If you want for music, the bass is incredible. I use for work / talking. Considering returning and going back to AirPods.

They have good call quality in hearing but the other called hears more background noise than you talking. They are a little uncomfortable after wearing for more than 2 hours at a time but overall they are good heaphones.

The noise canceling on a plane is excellent. You can still hear human voice but the crying baby on your flight will not keep you awake the whole time. It has 3 levels of ANC and the Quiet setting is the best I ever had. I bought these to teplace the over the ear Bose headphones and they are far superior for noise canceling
