Bose earbuds/headphones/and wired earbuds are like a hit or miss. Sometimes you purchase and they work great like the previous generation to these. But this time they were defective. The earbuds would drop the connection to my Samsung device and completely unrecognize the device and it would take almost 1 hour of trying to connect them to the device again to get connected again. Extremely frustrating when you are on the go and don't have time to fidget with the earbuds. Also they don't fit in the ear nearly as well as the last generation, they did away with the proprietary silicone fit from the last generation and went with a bud type design with a piece that goes in the outer part of your ear but none of the silicone pieces actually fit my ear that it came with. I had to buy XL pieces from bose.com to make it remotely stick in my ear. Also I noticed the touch buttons have been changed to worse than the last generation, you don't have the same options to bind the touch that I used to be able to use. The noise cancelling also is different than the previous generation. When you are commuting on a train and the door closes between cars, the pressure shock from the door closing create a popping motion in your ear from the noise cancelling mechanism that is used in this model. Didn't have this issue with the previous gen. Any pressure wave in the air creates like a pop in your ear and is dangerous to your ear. The sound is the best in the business but other than it being small it is far worse than the last generation. The battery life isn't great either.

[Employee of bestbuy] My ears are really sensitive when it comes to sound and earbuds tend to physically hurt my ears after wearing for around an hour. The sound quality is amazing and the actual earbuds have different silicone add ons to help with both fit and noise cancelling, 10/10

The Bose earbuds are beyond excellent. My husband uses the Bose headset for his job as a a pilot and the quality of sound was just clear and beautiful. The same effect happens with the ear buds with the addition of light weight buds. The sound is truly unique and I would rate them with a higher score compared to the main competitors. We’re very happy with this purchase.

Love them. I have tried all kinds of ear buds and these have been the best. The fit my ears so comfortable and the sounds is so crisp clear.

Pros: *Very comfortable. They don't shove themselves way into your ear canal like other earbuds, which to me is a HUGE plus. *ANC on these is PHENOMINAL. I've had ANC earbuds before, but nothing like these. It heavily dampens low and mid freq noises to the point where you won't hear them. Highs make it through, but at reduced volume. Neutral: *Sound Quality on these is bordering between "okay" and "good". A bit too bass heavy. Cons: *There's a very noticeable white noise/hiss. Persists even if you lessen ANC levels. It's just there, and constant. *Charging case feels pretty flimsy/low quality. *No way to see battery charge level for the case in both the software or physically on the case.

These Bose earbuds are AMAZING!! I got them for my fiancé and he loved them!! The sound quality, battery lasts, the fitting love how small they are. they don’t slip at all, Most earbuds do. I know they’re a bit expensive but it’s worth every penny. ITS A MUST BUT!!!

I love Bose product and these earbuds are awesome. They cancel noise and sound is great. They are easy to manage with either phone or touch of the headphones.

These are the best buds I’ve ever used. They put my AirPod pros to shame. I’d give these 5 stars if it weren’t for the Bose app. It’s so bad, I had to knock off a star.
