The noise cancelling is not functioning as well as he would have hoped however, we live in NYC and subways are obnoxiously loud. That was his only complaint, otherwise he absolutely LOVES them!

Bluetoooth connectivity has issues

I think first gen were better thay have a better a sound and better NC. The biggest issue is connectivity one earbud eill not work until you put it back in the case!
