Sound quality and noise cancellation are fantastic and as advertised. However NONE of the 3 sizes of silicone tips will fit my right ear. Apparently I have some sort of odd ridge there and all three sizes of the tips create an ulcer type thing in my right ear. I guess it doesn't matter how well they perform if you can't wear the things. Also it is a problem for me that you can't wear the left earbud only. If you want to wear only one, it must be the right one....oh wait... that's my problem ear.

Finally I found a bluetooth that works great. I have hearing issues and after trying about 3 others, I finally dicided to trying these Bose bluetooth. Yes, they are pretty expensive but worth the money. I can now hear phone calls, music and anything else perfectly. I strongly recommend.

Going into this, I was expecting nothing less than near perfection, which is the norm for all Bose products. I was not in any way disappointed. First of all, everything about the Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds exudes a sense of beauty. The design of the earbuds themselves is extraordinary. As I examined the way they were made, I was dumbstruck at the thought and energy that went into the design. The way they are made to fit inside the ear is unlike any earbud I have ever seen. They fit snugly but not too tightly, the earpiece forms a flawless seal, and they do not become uncomfortable in the ear no matter how long you wear them. Included are different sized earpieces to ensure a solid fit in just about anybody's ears. This might be a good place to mention the noise cancelling feature of the earbuds. I had to remind myself that these are not over the ear headphones, so my expectations were a bit limited. They certainly surpassed my expectations. I did notice however that there are certain sounds that seem to come through, such as crinkling plastic. So they do not completely eliminate all outside noise, but they seem to come close. But the most important part...the sound. I tested these out on several different genres of music and also podcasts that were nothing but dialog. As I listened to REM perform "Everybody Hurts", I was transported to another dimension. The sound was crisp, vibrant, alive. I felt like I was actually there at the concert. As I listened to a song by Motorhead, I could feel my ears tingle from the deep bass and screaming vocals. As far as the podcasts go, you could actually hear the speaker inhale and exhale, which was distracting. To put it bluntly, these earbuds lived up to the Bose reputation and I am now the proud owner of perhaps the finest earbuds made. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone. The earbuds come with their own recharging case which ensures you can always have the earbuds fully charged and ready to go. I can't say for sure exactly how long they take to fully charge since I have yet to run them all the way down. I normally don't use earphones or earbuds for more than a few hours at a time, so like I said, I have yet to wear them all the way down.

Continually disappointed with Bose. These sound great and the noise cancellation is good, but they are heavy, the charging case is way too big, and the software is buggy. Wanted to love them but ultimately they were returned.

Might be a little bias with Bose but love the noise cancellation feature.
