After a couple months of use started to get sound distortion and had to send them in twice to get exchanged.

I also have QC35 and this earbuds is as good as the QC35 in nc. The sound is better than last year sound sport (previous version of earbuds). I gave only 4 stars because there is no volume control on it..you have to control it thru the phone.

The guy who said he couldn't hear his lawnmower must have been using a pair of scissors. The big problem, however, was that I couldn't get them to fit securely in my ears, no matter what size tip I used. And the peculiar design of the tips precludes replacements from anyone but Bose. Of course, your mileage in this respect might vary. I returned them.

Posted .Hi Jeff, I am sorry to hear that you are slightly disappointed with the new earbuds.
It sounds as though your experience with the noise cancellation was affected by the fact that you were not able to form a seal in your ear to mask surrounding noise. Active and passive noise cancellation go hand in hand and are just as important than one another.
