You can silence traffic a few feet away from you and with two taps hear what's happening if needed. Great sound stage, fun but riding a bike with wind ahh I prefer the older earbuds having said that walking/hiking hasn't been an issue with gusts.

I chose Bose QuietComfort based on a review stating Excellent Phone Call quality. I'm glad I did. These things are MARVELOUS!!! All calls have been crystal clear. Of course, Bose music is outstanding. Easy to pair with phone, laptop and TV. Excellent buy!

Clunky functionality, faulty Bluetooth

A the only good thing I can say is that these earbuds probably do have the best noise cancellation. Unfortunately, my phone is no longer able to detect them, after not even five months of use. And the Bluetooth on them has always been clunky. I had to forget the device and re-add it many times. In terms of functionality, the touch controls are poorly designed. I could take them out and they would continue to play because of touch control. I really missed having a straightforward on/off and stop/play button. Finally, they were really uncomfortable at the beginning. It took a while to get used to them. For $300+, Bose really ought to do better. I have a less expensive pair of Bose over-ear headphones that have lasted for years and have no problems connecting to my iPhone 13.

That’s what I wanted the Best Buy expert said all of these are noise canceling. It’s funny I go to the store and ask for help with a product question and I always watch them say I don’t know let me look it up on the website. I just stare at them since I just did the same thing while waiting for them to help me! I wonder why these employees don’t have any product knowledge on the store they work at?
