Not worth for its price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bass is ok but the volume quality isn’t the best. It’s not that loud for some reason and setting up is a bit of a pain having to download bose app.

Malfunctioned within a month, waste of $270
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within 1 month of purchasing, the right earbud started making a static/muffling noise. Within 2 months, the same one started making a screeching noice and whenever any bass is used, the sound quality would be awful and make the static/muffling far worse to the point where I only use my left earbud. To make it even worse, you can't use the left earbud unless the right earbud is either out of the case or the case is open. These aren't comfortable either. If you use them for too long, your ears start to hurt. I would give these a better review if they were far cheaper. Yet, they're a massive waste of $270. I was expecting very nice, commutable earbuds that I could use long term, but they broke without any ware and tear. Go buy another brand besides these, I wish I did. And Bose knows about this issue with the static, but continues to sell them, knowing plenty of people are upset about this

Posted .Hi.
Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear that you have had sound issues with your QC Earbuds. I have looked into this for you. Please troubleshoot the issue by following the steps on this page: https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/articles/HC2519/productCodes/qc_earbuds/article.html
That should address the issue you are facing with the earbuds.
The right earbud is the master or main earbud; it controls the left earbud by relaying audio from the source device. If you place the right earbud in the case by itself with audio streaming and close the case, audio will stop, and the earbuds will turn off.
The right earbud also has the microphone for phone calls. Make sure you use the right earbud for phone calls. You can also change the tips of the earbuds to make it comfortable in the ears.

Best sound and noise cancellation ever
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds are my favorites. Unboxing - The packaging is well done and satisfying. When I opened these the quality just stood out. The case has a sturdy latch on it so they earbuds don’t fall out if accidentally dropped like my other high priced ones have done. The button for the latch is a little hard to press, though, without using both hands. The charging case has strong magnets to keep the buds in place. The silicone tips that came already installed fit me perfectly so I did not have to try either of the other two pairs that were included. At first I had trouble getting them in my ears but then I realized that I could just push them in and turn a little and they locked in just fine. A USB-C (A to C) charging cable included is a nice addition instead of micro USB. I did have to install the Bose Music app on my iPhone but the earbuds paired easily and quickly. Checking battery level is easy by checking the app or by putting them in your ear and hearing the voice tell you. The voice is a little weak, though, when reporting battery level. Sound - the sound is excellent with strong bass and good voices and treble. The sound quality and volume automatically adjusts to the sounds around you to keep the sound balanced. Noise reduction - the noise reduction is even better than my other high priced earbuds. It cuts down outside noises so much that I can barely hear my mower with the blades going. The touch interface works well to adjust from maximum noise cancelling to hearing everything around you using the favorites setting in the app. Playback Controls - I set up a shortcut in the app so I can touch and hold the left earbud for a second and skip to the next track. By touching the right earbud I can start and stop the music or I can touch and hold to bring up Siri. Phone Calls - the call quality is excellent with clear voice reported on both ends. The touch interface can also answer calls and terminate calls. Overall these noise cancelling earbuds are the best I have ever tried and may be the best ever made for sound and noise cancelling abilities.

Quit 6 months
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe its just my set, but used for six months and the left ear bud quit working. Couldn't figure anything out. Contacted support and they took care of it. I sent it back to Bose and they sent a new pair, bc I was still in the one year warranty. So the customer service was good, But I expect more from Bose

Bluetooth does not stay connected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy these earbuds. The Bluetooth will not stay connected. These buds are attractive and the sound is amazing...if/when the Bluetooth stays connected. Additionally, if not used for a day or two, the buds have 0% batter power, while the case is fully charged. Eventually, I got tired of searching for fixes on YouTube and exchanged them.

Will NOT stay in my ears!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in these headphones, They sound amazing but they will not stay in my ears at all. I tried all the different sizes but they still fall out. I think the material they used with the previous bud versions had a sturdier rubber or silicone and those stayed in my ears with no problems. Too bad Bose went away from that.

Posted .Hey there, our engineers pioneered the patented eartip technology behind these earbuds close to a decade ago — and they’ve been perfecting the innovations ever since. With our new StayHear Max tip design, every surface that touches your ear is made of soft silicone — not hard plastic — so the earbuds are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Reach out to us if you need help fitting the buds!

Posted .Hello, very sorry to hear you had this experience with your earbuds. This certainly shouldn't have happened. There are various modes for cancellation and it's possible that you had aware mode enabled which could have given the impression of no cancellation.
If you ever experience unexpected performance from the product, remember you get a lifetime of free technical support so please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Two defective pairs in a row, no quality assurance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gotten two separate pairs of these now, the first pair I had to exchange because there was some critical fault in the earbuds software, couldn't connect to Bluetooth, reset them, or anything. this second pair the left earbud charges and response but the right earbud is dead and will not charge. and without it, you cannot connect to Bluetooth or properly use the left earbud. I can excuse getting the occasional defective product once in a while, it happens nothing is perfect but two defective products in a row are not excusable and paint a pretty clear picture to me of the overall quality Bose is offering here. I have Quietcomfort headphones so I know Bose products can be amazing, these earbuds are a rip-off.

You certainly shouldn't be hearing a crackling noise from your headphones! It's also very strange that you are seeing a lag between the two buds when you turn them on. Please do reach out to us as we'd love to help you with this! https://bose.life/2P7Tuqt

Outstanding sound; phone app essential for control
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experiences so far with the Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds have been generally good, although there have been some surprises. The first surprise was with the charging case, which the earbuds came in. When I opened the case lid, lights on the earbuds and case started glowing. Whoa! I wasn't sure what this meant, although I assumed (correctly) that the buds were already charged and ready to go. Later, I learned from How-To's on the Bose site that placing the earbuds in the case (where they are held snuggly by magnets) turns off the earbuds. When you push on the case button to unlatch the top of the case, this turns on the earbuds and makes their LEDs glow. The next surprise was the QuickStart guide. In contrast to the safety warning—a massive booklet in many languages—the one-sheet QuickStart guide said nothing about operating the earbuds. Instead, it said to download the Bose Music app for my Android phone. I already had a Bose Connect app, but I dutifully downloaded the Bose Music app, and found the instructions there for setting up the earbuds to be very clear. I was amused to find that the first step was to choose a name for the earbuds from a list of suggestions such as Nightshade, Black Diamond, Dark Star, and Incognito. You can also choose your own name. A more important feature is establishing a Bluetooth connection with your sound source. Note that you must use the Bose app for this, not the usual Bluetooth connections on your phone. Other useful settings in the app include controlling the volume, setting the level of noise cancellation (which, at highest level, really does block out other sounds), whether to automatically pause when you remove an earbud, and what command is issued when touching the left earbud (hear battery level or skip to the next track). Having the Bose Music app is essential to controlling the earbuds. Although you can check the battery or skip to the next track by tapping on the left earbud, pause and play music with a double tap on the right earbud, and accept a phone call with a double tap or decline the call with a single tap on the right earbud, that is about it. No volume control or other setting changes can be made without your phone. In contrast, I can skip forward and back and control the volume on my other, very inexpensive wireless earbuds. This is because a wire with a control device connects the earbuds. That wire also makes my cheap earbuds more secure—if one falls out the wire keeps it from falling to the ground. Although the Bose earbuds feel very comfortable and secure, I would not use them while bicycling because if one fell out that would probably be the end of it. Of course, the most important feature of Bose products is sound quality, which is the main reason I got these earbuds. I compared the quality to my cheap earbuds by connecting them both to my phone, and then alternating between them on the same song. Unsurprisingly, the rich sound quality of the Bose earbuds far surpassed my cheaper earbuds, which, although I thought were not bad, suddenly sounded tinny by comparison. And there is the best reason to invest a little money in these wireless earbuds—the Bose sound quality.

Died After 2 Hours
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shipped quickly. When I received it I fully charged it, and updated it. Listened to 2 hours of music, which sounded awesome, then the right earbud died. Drove back to Best Buy for a refund. Great earbuds with awesome sound and ANC, but $219 for 2 hours of music!?

Subpar performance for overpriced buds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Expectations for a $300 pair of headphones turned out to be a disappointment for a product that, at best, is worth $175. As far as battery life goes these buds are terrible. You'll be lucky to get 4 hours of play before the 10% warning pops up. There is no option to charge just one bud in the case while continuing to use another. The noise cancelling feature is subpar compared to other, cheaper options. For example, small instances like wind or light water falling in the background will result in a 'static' sound as the earbuds try to figure out how to filter the surrounding noise. The bass in these buds are almost non existent compared to other Bose products and cheaper alternatives. The charging case is bulky and very noticeable in a pair of jeans or shorts. Want an in app equalizer to set sound to your personal choice? Nope, it doesn't exist; only options to change levels of noise cancelling and volume of each bud. The buds are not comfortable to the ear. After an hour of use, regardless of which bud size used, you'll feel soreness in your ears from the errant design. Bottom line... If you own an iPhone get a pair of far superior air pod pros for $200; and if you're a Samsung or other Android user get a pair of equally superior Galaxy buds pro for $175. Skip these Bose buds, your ears and wallet will thank you.
