Sound Noise Cancelling, but My Ears Hurt

Also the earbuds would refuseto pair "pair rejected" because of the one earbud. Going back to Sennheiser

Not worth the money

Battery Issues

I returned them and got a second pair that lasted me about 9 months. Now I have another dead earbud. I really enjoyed them when they worked but I just can't recommend them if they're going to be completely useless after such a short period of time. I also have a pair of Bose Soundsport Free earbuds that I upgraded from and those also had major battery problems. I might just stay away from Bose wireless completely after this...

You mentioned this has happened with another product. I would recommend making sure the charging block that the power cord plugs into has a power rating of 5V, 1.2A for the QuietComfort Earbuds, and 5 VDC, 0.8 A for the SoundSport Frees. This will make sure that they are receiving the appropriate power.

Posted .Hello, I am sorry that you do not like your new earbuds. You should be getting up 6 hours of battery life from your earbuds. The included case is designed to travel with you all day long. Its magnetised interior keeps the wireless earbuds securely in place while they charge, and its battery provides two additional full charges—or up to 12 hours of playback time. Plus, a quick 15-minute charge will give you up to 2 hours of battery life. And when it’s your case’s turn to be recharged, you can choose between the included USB-C cable or any Qi-certified wireless charging mat (not included).
You can also adjust the noise cancellation levels within the Bose Music app. I am sure that setting this to high will help.

Typical Bose quality–Nice but not perfect
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently, these earbuds have been in the works for quite some time and now, they're finally hear (lol). I love earbuds and have many, many different pairs but I was super excited to see how Bose brought their touch to this category. Visually, the Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds are nice and subdued, just like most of Bose's products. They are a relatively large bud shape and mine are in black, but I believe they are also offered in white. The construction looks of high quality and they come with a charging case, additional fit sleeves and a USB C to USB A charging cable. They offer 6 hours of playtime per charge and the case adds an additional 12 hours to that. They also have a quick charge feature that gives 2 hours of playtime after just 15 minutes of charging. That's super nice. The silicone ear fit sleeves come is 3 sized to help find the right fit for a variety of ear sizes. They are very comfortable and keep the earbuds firmly in place. I can use them for my daily walks, and to help with that, they are IPX4 rated for water(sweat) resistance. To set up, simply download the Bose Music app and connect them via Bluetooth(5.1). There, you can customize features like, level of noise cancellation, touch gestures and transparency. Unfortunately, the touch gestures are very limited and only allow: play/pause for the right bud and only one "short cut" gesture for the left bud. That short cut is limited to either announce battery level OR skip to next track. Not good. I'm super surprised there is no on-bud volume control offered which is very important to me. Maybe in time, they will add new gesture options. Bose is obviously known for their noise cancellation and these offer excellent active isolation. As I mentioned, active noise isolation can be adjusted from 0(no isolation) to 10(full isolation).It also offers a transparency option if you remove one of the earbuds. I always keep it at full isolation and it's amazing. Bose's reputation is definitely intact here. I don't know how they perform for phone calls as I don't use them for that, but apparently they have a microphone array on the right bud that makes calls super clear and cancels out everything but your voice. Sounds quality also falls in line with the Bose way of doing things. They say they have introduced a new Active EQ technology which is supposed to keep the sound boosted and clean at any volume. I found that the lows are as impressive as always but the midtones and highs suffered a bit. The midtones and highs sounded muddy to me and I wasn't getting the spatial depth that I have found with other high-end earbuds. I'm not surprised though. That is the sound I typically relate to Bose anyway. Strong bass but muddy elsewhere. They still sound amazing especially if you like the punch of the lows. Overall, these are very fine earbuds and if you've owned any Bose headphones/earbuds in the past, these won't disappoint. But I do wish the sound quality had better spatial separation and not such a focus on the bass. I also am disappointed with the touch gesture options–or lack thereof. I'd still say give them a try, especially if you are in loud environments that you want to drown out. They are stellar at that.

simply unreliable

I keep them in the case when not in use. Never use outside. Never been in extreme temps. This morning I have been on chat with support for 2 hours. Support cannot fix the problem. The product will now have to be returned. This means no earbuds for me for a few weeks. Now the IMPORTANT PART...This is the 3RD TIME these have had to be returned in 6 months! With all 3 issues the headphones were unusable. They simply would not work and support could not fix them without returning. The honest truth is during this time my kids are using and I'm sure abusing Apple Airpods and Airpod Pros that they have had much longer and don't take care of like I have these Bose. Just an honest review of my experience. Hope it helps someone with a very busy life like me to avoid this product.

Dropped the ball

They won’t stay in your ear if a drop of sweat hits them. The noise cancellation is better on then Sony and the sennheiser and the air pods pro. I wanted to try the Bose out because I have the over the ear and they rock. I’ve had the for 2 weeks and they just won’t grow on me.

Posted .Hello, proper fit is important for product comfort and performance. Have you tried using the different sized eartips included in the box to get the best fit? This will prevent them from falling out. In terms of noise cancellation, have you tried adjusting the level to high in the Bose Music app at all? I am sure this will help.
