Poor connection

I had to return them and get myself an air pods pro. Too many steps to connect them and hear music.

Broke after a few uses

The sound quality was not as good and the controls on the app were weird. Any time I put my earbuds in after not using them for a while a random song would play. I wore them maybe 5 times until they got the left earbud started flashing red and white. I tried all the troubleshooting steps to no avail. I ended up going to the geek squad and they said they were broken so I picked up a different brand. Really disappointing because I had the wired ones for about 10 years and they always worked great. But for $300 only to have them not work after a few times? Never buying Bose again.

I understand that you have returned the earbuds already. The behavior you had from the earbuds is unexpected, and should you decide to try them again in the future there are some steps you can try. If you're not happy with the audio quality, you can try the steps here https://bose.life/3jwUhEl to improve the quality.
The touch controls on the earbuds are sensitive to ensure ease of use, an accidental touch on the right earbud can start music from the last used music app on your device. If you're wanting to use them for Noise Cancelling only, please follow the steps on page 29 of the user guide here: https://bose.life/3FWxwBg
The earbuds flashing red and white indicators an error, and should be clearable by resetting the earbuds as per the steps here https://bose.life/3IiXK3w to follow. You can also reach out to us https://bose.life/38DNELy for help with any of the above if needed.

earbuds still need a long way to go

Its like wearing ear protection and that's it. The noise cancelling is noticed because when you don't use it, it increases the noise around you especially the high frequencies. Then when you turn the noise cancelling on "you think it's cancelling" when all it's really doing is stopping its own amplification. Not to mention that it did not stay in the ear when doing basic movement. It was also painful to have in the ear.

Posted .Hello Tech, proper fit is important for product comfort and performance. Have you tried using the different sized eartips included in the box to get the best fit? This will prevent them from falling out.
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds utilise both active and passive noise reduction technologies. They use a sophisticated proprietary approach for active noise reduction, placing microphones both inside and outside the earbuds. The electronics system senses the sound in almost any environment and then measures, compares and reacts—instantaneously—to produce an opposing cancelling signal. The passive noise reduction is achieved by a combination of the acoustic design and proprietary eartip design.

Disappointed

I bought the buds and had to travel to get them since, our local store said they didn't have any in stock. Anyway, as stated by other purchasers the left ear bud controls did not work. As i pressed the side of the left earbud all i got was a "TOK' sound each time i pressed it. I called support and the hungup on me. I bought them at 1100 am and returned them at 2pm and got the sony WF-1000XM3 and the WF-SF800N as backup just incase the sony's didn't work either. Buy you warranty for the bud's guys. I am actually getting these for for free since my bose horseshoe looking headphone were taken off the shelves. So far the Sony's are looking good and sounding good. I just wish the XM3's also had that extra silicone that keeps the headphones in place like the SP800N. Goodluck

The left earbud control you were attempting was to adjust the noise-cancellation, and you would've heard an indicator sound letting you know every double-tap changes the level of noise-cancellation you receive. Not great for workouts. Adds may speak otherwise

I bought this mainly for workouts but having 2 wireless pieces in my ear did not feel so great while working out. 50% of the time I was worried if these 2 in ear pieces will be lost some where. It did not stay stable in my ear.

Bose not comfort

I hve to send them back to manufacturer now one of the speakers sounds busted,hurts my ear and they took the locator off which I liked. Bad deal Bose

Let me start by saying that I love quality products, I have a Bose sound system in my truck, I have a Bose sound system for my home TV Surround and have had Bose sound sport earbuds for the past 4 years that worked at a time Until the battery life or Bluetooth would start to fail. I have had 7 pairs of the sound sport and when they started to fade out and I wanted to get a new pair but found that I couldn’t get the same pair so I decided to upgrade, well that was a big mistake because these new earbuds SUCK. The sound quality is horrible on both the recipients ends. They sound scratchy and terrible fitting. I have been told that it sounds like I have the window down while driving 75mph. Why do companies change a good design. These suck and I will be getting new products. Bad deal Bose.....

Need, find my ear-bud Feature

Not recommend for small ears

They stick out and press against you ear making them hot abs u comfortable. Plus I have small ears... they really would not stay in without feeling pressure in my ear canal. I returned them.
