    CONNECTION ISSUES, I returned these.

CONNECTION ISSUES.... I loved the quality of the sound and noise cancelling, I bought Jabra 85t's at the same time, so I could compare them both. They were equal in sound quality, bose has a slight edge in noise cancelling (cafe's, airplanes, bedroom), but only slight, barely noticeable. The problem with these was when I wanted to pair it to a new device, it would think it was connected to the previous device, for instance, my laptop. To connect to my bedroom TV, I ended up having to get my laptop out of the living room, unpairing these earbuds from my laptop, then and only then could I pair these things to my phone/tv/etc... and even then it was a huge pain.... After unpairing with EVERYTHING, I would still have to try 3-4 times to connect them to the device I was trying to use. I guess if you were ONLY going to use these with ONE device, that would be ok, but please, do yourself a favor, save $50 or so, and get the Jabras, same quality, a little smaller, longer battery life, smaller buds, smaller case, and NO connection issues, the Jabra's connect to multiple devices simultaneously, they determine which device is sending an audio signal and only play that signal.... I love the Jabras.

Great Sound But Too Many Flaws!

I picked these up to replace my SoundSport Free's. I'm a big fan of Bose products and the sound, noise cancellation, and comfort on these are outstanding. My major issues is there are too many major issues that Bose did not address from the previous model. Per Bose, like the SoundSport Free model, these will shut down in hot environment such as a sauna as they cannot tolerate high heat; there is no manual repeat nor volume control ... you must use Siri for additional features / commands and this is a major annoyance as a simple tap or swipe should be imbedded in these to accommodate these features. In addition, they are not IP55 rated. In a general sense, the app is lacking as there is no EQ or customizable features other than configuring the left earbud to skip a track or to hear battery power. One nice feature is that you can turn off in-ear detection which allow the buds to play continuously. Mine will be returned until such a time that the app / product are more functional. At this price point and per the last model, I really expected better from Bose! These are an A+ on sound quality and noise cancellation but clearly an F -on the user app, construction quality (IP55 rating), and user function. Hope this helps!

Hey, we appreciate your support and are glad that you enjoy the sound quality, noise cancellation, and comfort of these earbuds. I'm sorry that you feel as though some features are lacking or missing.

Regarding the volume control, It's a feature that we're exploring, but it's still in research. We do not know at this time if it will be integrated.

The QuietComfort Earbuds are rated IPX4, which ensures they are resistant to water splashes and sweat.

Finally, the earbuds feature automatic volume-optimized active EQ technology to give you the best sound possible.

      Thanks for your feedback!

Bought these a week ago. VERY HAPPY with them. I have had Sony, Status Audio among others. I couldn't keep those in my ear, but these not only stay, but are extremely comfortable. Additionally, the sound is incredible, as is expected from BOSE. I've only had a week, so I haven't had a connectivity issue, and don't expect to. I'm very pleased. Also, I'm so happy with Best Buy. I bought these for $279, and found them a few days later on Amazon for $199. No problem at all. Best Buy matched the price with no issue. They have now lowered the price. Great store to do business with.

Before buying these i purchased and returned the Sony WF-1000XM4, and the Soundcore by Anchor Liberty 3 earbuds. Both the Sony and Soundcore delivered excellent sound quality, but they really could not come close to matching the Bose for noise cancelling. I had the Sony earbuds, and went to a friends house and went into his woodshop. We turned on his table saw and dust collection system and we took turns swapping the Bose and Sony earbuds. The Bose were dramatically better at quieting the noise. The Bose were also more comfortable.

    Pros and Cons

I’ve had my Bose QuietComfort for about 3 months, and so far, they’ve been great. I’ve also had AirPods for about 1 year, and thought it’d be helpful to compare the two. There are a few downsides to the QuietComfort Earbuds, but I consider them fairly minor compared to the numerous upsides. So, I’ve compiled a list of pros and cons to compare. Pros: Great sound quality Great noise cancelling and Bose apps includes settings for various levels of noise cancelling. The noise cancelling on Bose QuietComfort is significantly better than AirPods. Very easily connects to device The case is a little hard to open, and sometimes a little annoying, but I think this is a good quality, as it secures your earbuds and ensures that they won’t fall out… unlike the AirPods case. They fit great and do not fall out of your ear, as they come with size options so you can find the perfect fit. The case has a smooth finish and is visually appealing Cons: The case is pretty chunky, and sometimes it’ll get in the way. Unlike the AirPods, which has a smaller case. The actual earbuds themselves are fairly large as well compared to the AirPods. They look huge when they’re in your ear. There is only 1 microphone and its located in the right earbud, so, when you’re on a phone call, you need to have the right earbud in. If you want to listen with only 1 earbud, it has to be the right earbud. If you put the left earbud in, and then close the case, it automatically disconnects. (Although, if you leave the case open, it stays connected, but it’s annoying to carry around an open, already chunky earbud case.) Overall, I think Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are abundantly better than the AirPods. Even through they come at a higher price, they have a significant amount of qualities that compensate.

    Quiet Comfort.

I purchased these after they came out for about a month. Quiet Comfort is an understatement. First I'd like to share quickly the noise cancelling feature; its second to none. Whether they be over the ear headphones etc even over the ears from Bose. Most likely because the awesome cancelling starts by the eardrum. Don't like loud noise, crowds, vulgar and idol filled conversations, useless music, these are for you. Quiet comfort indeed. The audio quality is outstanding and very smooth. Just waiting for Bose to include the eq, though I have my own special eqs for my android phone. Would like the Bose touch of an eq as well though, like on the 700. The app is good as well though (One minor con in my opinion) having to keep location on in order to use the app is a little annoying. Once it's set to your liking though you can take location off. You haven't heard noise cancelling to the fullest unless you have used these or place your fingers in your ears. The audio quality has it's own signature and I appreciate it like I do my sennheiser momentum earbuds 2. I had the Sony earbuds as well and the noise cancelling and the audio quality even presently without it's own eq suits me better. The audio from these is rich, if you put the noise cancelling on, you just have to put the volume of the music a little up to your liking. You will only hear the music. There is no dispute about the noise cancelling from these Quiet Comforts, that's a promise!

Where to start? I had these preordered within hours of their official announcement. I've been looking forward to them since 2019 when they were first demonstrated. Needless to say, i really wanted to like them, but the cons outweighed the pros. Lets start with the Pros: -ANC far above the competition. I've tried both Airpod Pros, Galaxy Lives (not really ANC), and the Sony WF1000XM3. These have far better ANC than the lot of them. This was my primary selling point and it didnt disapoint for the most part. The only gripe i have is that they give a lot of static when confronted with high wind speeds or compressed air. Not really a dealbreaker for most people, but something inconvenient for somebody in my line of work. -Sound quality, while subjective, was better than all of the wireless earbuds i listed above along with my go to Galaxy Buds. I really love the way they sound. That's pretty much all of their redeeming qualities. The list of cons are as follows: -These things are SUPER bulky. Not only do they stick WAY out of your ear, but their case is nearly impossible to fit into your pockets. As somebody who uses their earbuds on and off for 9 hours a day, i found myself getting annoyed having to lug them around. -I found them uncomfortable. I tried each eartip for at least 3 hours before settling on the one that fit best. Even with that, i found that my ears would fatigue by the end of my work shift. This kinda ruined the experience for me after the 2nd day. Since my ears hadnt rully recovered from the day before. -Its either ANC or Ambient sound, no in-between. No mater what you do, the mic will always be feeding sound into your ear canal. Remember how i mentioned that the earbuds would give static whenever confronted with compressed air/wind? Thats impossible to avoid. Most ANC earbuds have an option to turn those mics off which completely avoids this issue. For a $280 pair of earbuds, i'd expect them to do this. -Bose Music APP is terrible. The app is unpolished and has options which dont even work. There's an option to pair to other learned devices, but you cant actually use it. In order to do this, you need to unpair your current device which then boots you out of the app. To pair to the other device, you have to go into it and pair manually. This is just an example of how unpolished the experience is. -Touch shortcuts are clunky. Pause=Double tap right earbud, ANC on/off= double tap left earbud, hold right earbud= Voice Assistant, Hold left earbud=skip track or tell battery life. There's no option to change anything other than the hold left bud, no reverse track, no volume control. What you see is what you get. -Master and slave connection. These buds use a master and slave connection. The right earbud being the master and the left being the slave. The right earbud works on its own, but the left earbud will not. This isnt a huge gripe for me usually, but there have been a few times in the past week where i wanted to use only one earbud at a time and preferred keeping the left in. There's my list of my major pros and cons. These cons may not apply to everybody, but they did to me which is what ultimately led to their return. If these cons dont bother you, then i really think theyre worth the shot. For anybody interested, i've had these paired to my Galaxy Note 10+ and my Galaxy Tab s6.

This is my 2nd Bose Bluetooth. I thought that the first one was defective but I was wrong. The sound is very good but when I connected it to my Bose Sound Bar connected to my OLED TV the sound breaks when I lay down on my adjustable bed. Other than that it sounds great! I would have given it 5 star review.

I'd never tried noise canceling earbuds before, but have been completely blown away with how quiet they make the world around you. I wear these at work while sitting at my desk and can barely hear anything. It's total relaxing silence. They have good sound too when listening to podcasts. They are bulky compared to the Apple buds I use at the gym, but are light and fit my ears perfectly.
