    These earbuds work very well as it relates to sound quality and noise cancellation. However, there is this mode where it will switch back and forth between noise cancellation (quiet) and no noise cancellation (aware). It's an automatic process and can't be turned off. I can be walking outside and any noise will turn off the NC. A plane flying overhead, a car passing or a child crying. It thinks that someone is talking to you and it will shut off the NC. It's also very annoying because it will skip through songs or book chapters as it does this. I've tried my other cheaper buds and the skipping doesn't happen. Calls to customer service were of no help, so these will be going back.

      I'm glad to hear that you feel the sound quality and noise cancelation works very well.
      In regards to the modes, this is not something that is automatic. This is controlled in the application or the touch controls on the left earbud. If this is not the case for you, I would recommend that you reach out to our team for further support.

    $300 headphones broke after just 2 years

    I purchased these in late 2020 and they have severely diminished in audio quality. I no longer have audio in one earbud and the other earbud occasionally sounds staticy. The Bose warranty is expired and they are offering a minimal discount to replace the earbuds. For such expensive earbuds to be effectively useless after only 2 years is asking a lot of consumers. I really liked them at first for the audio quality, even though they were a bit sensitive to touch and did not have the best battery life. Unfortunately after this experience, I cannot recommend this brand.

    Best sound and noise cancellation by far. The only problem i have is that ypu can't use only your left ear bud, it has to be eigther both or the right ear bud. Other then that (which is super annoying) i have no comment.

    PROS: The sound The noise cancellation If you drop a bud the music will pause until you put the bud back to your ear. CONS: The left earbud is just a drone, you can't use it independently for a phone call, or use it alone to listen to music (Unless the case is open). I had a pair of Blackweb earbuds I bought for around $50 (could them independently.) The design to hold them in place nothing to keep them there. I would like a option for over the ear. Can't pair them singular e.g Left ear paired, Right ear paired.

    Hands down the best headphones I’ve ever had. I had a set of Bose QC 35’s and thought they worked great for work. My wife bought these for me for Father’s Day and I’m absolutely amazed how well they cancel out the noise of a mower all day. Literally can’t hear a thing!

    If you are already a Bose loyal fan then you will love these. People complain about the fit, people complain about the volume control these are little things people complain about it's all about the audio which is fantastic and the noise cancellation is perfect it does not affect the audio

    Unreliable Product

    Although I have had this product for over a year, I only used the headphones a handful of times, as I normally opted to use my AirPods. Yesterday, I went to use this product after charging them, and the left earbud was blinking white and red. After an extensive chat with customer service and making several attempts to find a solution, customer service said the only thing I could do was to buy the new Quietcomfort II earbuds. I told them I didn't feel comfortable making this purchase, as the product proved to be unreliable the first time around. They then offered me 20% off, and eventually another 10% off of that. I again told them I wasn't comfortable spending ~$150 on a product I didn't trust. I asked if I could send in the product for a repair, but they said this wasn't an option (even though they still sell refurbished ones on their site?). Customer service then ended the conversation by saying "It was really a pleasure chatting with you today!" and I walked away with no solution. I am very disappointed in the product, and even more disappointed in Bose, as this is not only poor customer service, but very wasteful that their solution is to just have the consumer make another purchase and just throw a reparable item out. From a company whose CEO said, "...we're committed to achieving positive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact...", this does not seem like the best outcome they could have come up with.

    Best earbuds I have owned. The range is awesome. I can leave my phone in a corner of the basketball court and shoot hoops at the other end of the court. only downside is every once in a while there is some connectivity issues.

    The noise cancellation is GREAT! They look GREAT! The one that I find very annoying is that sometimes they can be in the case and still connect to my phone and if I don’t realize that it stayed connected, I’ll get to the gym and my earbuds are dead. I feel that if they’re in the case charging then they shouldn’t be able to connect. But you can mistakenly push the button on the outside of the charging case and your earbuds will connect to your phone.

    I have tried numerous ear buds and these are on a different level. YES they are pricey but worth every penny. If these aren't the answer to the problem, you have 14 days to return them.

    Best wireless earbuds on the market! The noise cancelation and audio are far better than anything I have ever owned. I replaced my airpods with these and i will never go back!

    Left earbud stops working

    Very disappointed with this product. Left ear bud stopped charging within a month after product's warranty ended. Sound quality is nice but product's durability and reliability is terrible. I might have hardly streamed audio for 80 hours and it's broken. I doubt, I will ever buy Bose earbud again. Hope Bose reads it and helps in fixing this.

    I purchased these for my husband for Christmas, gave them to him a little early. He charged them, took them to work the next day and already one ear bud wont charge or connect to his phone. Im taking them back for an exchange today but this concerns me on the quality of these and how long they will last. When they worked they had excellent noise cancelling and sound. Hopefully we were unlucky and got a bad set. I expected better out of Bose.

    Ive purchased so many airpods only to get broken within a few months. Bose is amazing, i hardly even charge it! Worth every penny. I will never go back to apple.

    I have dozens of headphones. I'm picky... While these sound OK and have good (not great noise cancelation) there are too many flaws at this price point to ignore. No volume control on buds. Dangerous and irresponsible. Get ready to pull your phone out or scream at your voice assistant. App is glitchy, no EQ. Really not as good as Jabra or Sony. No location based EQ or ANC. Comfort not as good as wired QC buds as there is a new plastic hump that rests right on your ear bones. Gets painful after about 1hr for me. That's new as older buds were an international flight of bliss for me. Case so large it is unpockatable. And in the wrong way... So no front or back pockets allowed. Single Device connectivity... Have to disconnect, then connect to new device. Get your phone out, open the app, go through the process..... Who has time for this madness that buds 25% of the price have. Firmware upgrades might fix a few of these.... But honestly, these are so flawed, I'm done with Bose for a few years.
