Bose quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second pair of the Bose-QuietComfort Earbuds. They come with multiple ear pieces so you can get a good fit into your ear so they stay put. The sound is great and the noise cancelling works very well, which is what is expected for Bose quality. You have to read the directions so you know where to tap to change volume and work the other controls. It took me a bit of practice. The battery life is good and the the case keeps them charged. There is a series of lights on the case that let you know how much charge is left. It doesn’t take long to recharge either. Connectivity is easy. My iPhone and iPad both easily pair with these. They stay connected. Phone sound quality from the receiving end is great. Even though these are the first model and not the newer model, I think they are even more of a bargain because they are about $100 cheaper than when I first purchased them. I think it is a great buy for the quality you get.

Finally a Good Bose Hearphone
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely happy with this purchase. I recently purchased two pairs for myself and my fiancé and we absolutely love them. We used to use the sport Bose headphones but had ALOT of issues with connecting, battery not charging the headphones, sound quality etc.. we ended up switching brands but eventually just went back to Bose and was just going to deal with the issues. I decided to finally give these a try due to seeing they were water resistant (we use them for the gym and power washing). I will say, the noise canceling is amazing! I can hardly hear an 8gpm pressure washer standing next to it, the connection is a lot better, they are extremely comfortable and look great. I will say when using a high pressure wand, they do interrupt the noise canceling and make a static loud noise. I would also like to see some other colors. Overall I do recommend buying these, they are worth it.

Better than the QC-35 over-ear headsets.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great set of earbuds, I like these better than my QC 35s. I guess since they are small and have less surface area for noise to travel around. They're definitely worth giving a try. With 3 sizes to choose from, for in-ear comfort and stability. The customisations you can do are really the best on the app, saves all of your settings and are easy to switch with a simple tap. Switching from device to device is a easy as pressing a button on the earbud case. I work in a data center environment (constant dull and loud up to 90-95 decibels in most places) and the noise really cancels out well, and can barely hear anything. In a regular environment like planes, walking through town, and working out are amazing. Complaints I have are having them on for far too long will create moisture in your ear and cause itching, so I try to not wear them for too long, generally for more than 2 or 3 hours. I do have to constantly adjust it in my ear for the best seal when I wear it for more than 90 minutes.

A quiet comfort indeed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose is always a name associated with a high end speaker. However, while it was well known for its exceptional sound quality, I always associated the Bose speaker with having more treble than bass. This headphone makes a huge improvement upon its bass sound. Not as loud as other well known speaker but more balanced - which, to my ear, is a welcome change. The speaker comes with 3 different sets of ear pieces that hopefully will fit anybody's ear size. Like other noise cancelling headphones, the size of this ear piece is important to block out the outside noise. I use the medium size and the ear piece fits very comfortably in my ear. The one thing that surprise me about this headphone is how powerful the sound is considering its size. In my un-professional listening ear, the sound feels "full". It's like you are in the sound proof room and you hear the sound from all sides. As I mentioned earlier, Bose usually is not known for its bass sound, but this headphone has a very good balance of trebles and deep bass that creates a rich, clear sounding sound. Listening to electronic sound of Lady Gaga "Rain on Me" is as pleasant as listening to heavy drums of Rush "Tom Sawyer". And the noise canceling does work!! Using an app, the ANC (active noise control) level can be adjusted from 1 to 10. The app also allows the user to set up 3 different ANC level that can be accessed either through the app or by tapping the right side of the speaker. Putting the ANC to level 10 "almost" blocks your ear completely to outside voice. I am looking forward to try this headphone on airplane and see how much it can block the heavy noise of airplane engine or crying children. Bluetooth connection is also a breeze. It only recognizes one device at a time and you have to disconnect the connection from one device if you want to use it with another device. But one is set up, it will connect to the last device that it uses. Very helpful. It also recognizes the name of the device that it's connecting to (at least for Apple products). I am also happy to report that this headphone works with Siri, and I believe it also works with any other voice assistance. The headphone will stop playing music when one of them was taken out of your ear and automatically continues when you put the piece back in your ear. The battery supposedly lasts 6 hour, and 15 minutes back in the charger will give another 2 hours of listening time, up to 12 hours. The case can be charged using the cable or wirelessly. Beware, the case is pretty big, considering that the earbud itself is not the smallest in-ear headphone. However, I do think that Bose should include EQ control with this headphone. The good thing is, at least in my ear, the sound is very good, so no adjustment is necessary. But there are others that might feel differently. According to the website, the earbud is rated IPX4 which makes it safe to be used in rain or snow. In the end, I can honestly say I am very happy with this headphone. It has a very powerful sound for its size, amazing ANC and a goodt battery life.

A Worthwhile Entry
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can give mostly praise for the new entry to true wireless active noise cancellation (ANC) earbuds. I have to adjust the ear tip position at times to gain optimum comfort for extended wear. Not a deal breaker. Switching between devices is not easy, but doable. BOSE brings years of their proprietary technology experience to the buds. This is evidenced by a signature sound that is pleasant to hear. This sound is probably not for audiophiles or purist. The sound seems to be tailored to the tastes of most people, how they want or like to hear their sound. So there is a bias that you will have to decide for yourself if you like. Some frequencies are being enhanced, but not for unpleasant effect. This is particularly noticeable with the low frequencies. I tested this with Strawberry Letter 23 The Brothers Johnson. Listen to the last 1:22 on that song to hear the bass line. I’m also noticing I’m able to hear lyrics more clearly now. I can actually make sense of The New Frontier, Donald Fagan. Another example is The Fixx Deeper and Deeper. There are some quirky sound effects in that song that are so subtle, I never noticed them before, now I do. The One Thing INXS never sounded so good. Things I like: The little chime when I put the buds in my ear, wireless charging, song pausing when taken out, intuitive controls. Things I don’t: Slight pressure from the wingtips and difficulty changing between devices. Overall, owning these earbuds has made rediscovering my music a joy.

Great for music. Not designed for phone calls.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Awesome sound, and unbelievable noise canceling. Very comfortable. These are great earbuds for listening to music. Cons: I think they are way overpriced because of their limitations. The biggest let down is only the right bud has a mic, and the left won't connect by itself, it connects to the right earbud and the right connects to the phone. Also, you can only connect one device at a time. If these had multipoint connection and you could use one at a time, these would be perfect. I would pay extra if they had those features.

great performances but the quality...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality and the noise reduction are -for me- excellent: I didn't appreciate a big difference from other Bose noise reduction wired or wireless headphones (such as the QC 30) but I like the possibility to quickly switch between three different preset noise reduction levels: very useful when you are in the airport or if you need to talk with somebody without taking the headphones off. So, for the sound and noise reduction quality, I would rate 5 over 5. The two points that are below my expectations are the overall quality and the bluetooth connection as they look quite poor for a product of this cost, especially if compared to the apple airpods pro. The design and the quality of material, of both the headphones and the charging case, are much below the apple device: the case is much bigger and the material looks much cheaper. About the bluetooth: it is not clear why Bose decided to remove from this product the possibility to connect simultaneously to multiple devices: this option worked great on the quite control 30 model so why they didn't adopt it also here? On the other side, if you will use these headphones for running, biking or any other sport, these headphones are much better than the apple airpods as they are much more secure, thanks to the stayHear system that will keep the headphones in place. Final comment on the connection and on the battery: so far I didn't have any connection issue and the battery life was enough for few hours of usage. enough for my needs. As a conclusion: I recommend this product, especially if you will use it during your sport activities or if you are looking for a great noise reduction performance. if the design and quality of the material is a must for you, you can opt for the apple airpod pro devices that are much nicer and also a little bit cheaper.

My Favorite Buds
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These met my expectations. Superior to Beats, JBL, and Samsung
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things are absolutely incredible! Pros: - USB-C charging - The case has a little latch so if you drop them, it won't fling open and send your buds flying all over. - Battery level indicator on the case - Touch controls (not button) - The earbud piece doesn't penetrate your ear canal like most earbuds. - Multiple mics to help mute out ambience - INSANE noise cancellation Cons: - Very short charging cable Ok, so disclaimer: 1. I have small ears and ear canals, and 2. In the past two months I've gone through two other types of earbuds (Samsung Buds Pro, JBL Project Rock, Beats Powerbeats Pro, and these). I've returned the JBL Project Rock buds, the Samsung Buds, and the Powerbeats Pro and I think I'm finally settling for these. Ok, who am I kidding, these things are phenomenal! I'm definitely keeping these! MUSIC I'm not an audiophile, so for me as long as the music is decent (bass, treble, mids) I don't mind. These, however, are clearly and far superior than the JBL, Beats, and Samsung Buds Pro. The bass is rich and stable, the treble is crisp but not piercing, and mids are well balanced. I tend to listen to music at around 70% volume and it's clear that these outperform all the other earbuds I've used. VIDEO There's some delay when watching videos, but barely noticeable. These are better than the Samsung Buds Pro. The Buds Pro were the worst when it came to this; the delay was too much to comfortably watch tv shows or movies. The Beats and JBL were in line with these Bose - all three had very minimal delay, only barely noticeable if you looked for the delay. PHONE CALL I work in a fairly noisy environment and out of all the buds I tested, the Samsung Buds Pro were the winners by a long shot. They did the best job at cancelling out ambient noise so that they person taking my call could hear me clearly as opposed to hearing all the ruckus around me. These Bose earbuds were a clear second, outperforming the Beats. The Bose earbuds have multiple mics that do a great job at cancelling out ambient noise and focus on your voice, only sending that through on the phone call so the person at the other end hears you clearly. The Beats and JBL only have one extra mic and although the Beats do a decent job at cancelling out ambient noise, they're not as good as the Bose. As for the JBL buds...lets just say you shouldn't be able to make phone calls on them. They fall dead last. COMFORT The Bose earbuds are a clear winner in this category. They are as light as the JBL and Samsung Buds Pro. The problem with JBL is that their button-press is so firm that it feels like you're forcing the bud into your ear canal. The Samsung Buds Pro do a horrible job at staying in place (a quick browse will give you plenty of bad reviews on this). As for the Beats, they stay in place very well but the ear loop was too large for my ear and it looked very weird. Not only that, but my ear would start feeling a bit sore after about an hour of wear. The big advantage that these Bose have is that the earpiece doesn't penetrate your ear - instead it sits right at the opening of your canal and does an amazing job of creating a comfortable seal. Final Thoughts These things are wonderful and very immersive. When you put both of them on, it does an amazing noise cancelling action and you can clearly notice all noise around you fade out as if you had stepped into a soundproof room. I know it sounds ridiculous but you must try them for yourself so you can see I'm not exaggerating. They feel snug in my ear and I'm sure they'll sit in place during my workout sessions. I know they're pricy, but it's clear that you definitely get what you paid for and if you're constantly on calls like I am, or listening to music when working out and gardening, spend the extra cash and opt for these. You won't regret it. Shoutout to my buddy B. P. for recommending these to me!

Review of Bose Comfort Earbuds.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Comfort Earbuds are comfortable. The sound is very clear whether you are listening to music or a book. I am blind, and it took some sighted help to set them up, because the blue light for Blue Tuth has to be seen on the charging box. After annitial set up though, the Bose Earbuds are very easy to use. The instructions were a bit confusing for me and my sighted helper. Another sighted friend who has the same type of I phone knew about how to do the Blu Tuth in settings. That solved the problem with the Blue Tuth situation. The buds are comfortable but one keeps falling out of one of my ears. I think that ear is a little smaller than the other.

They are absolutely fantastic for working out. The sound quality is unparalleled, providing an immersive and crisp audio experience that truly sets them apart from other earbuds. Whether I’m at the gym or going for a run, the earbuds stay securely in place, and the noise cancellation feature helps me stay focused and motivated. The bass response is impressive, and every beat feels powerful. Bose has truly outdone themselves with these earbuds, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. My literal "Best Buy"
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sadly, my Beats Solo headphones (several years old) experienced a fatal injury and had to be replaced. My primary use of these earbuds is listening to background music when reading (masking distracting background sounds as well as providing appropriate sound). I opted for earbuds due to the considerably reduced size over the headset and the reported effectiveness of noise-cancellation. Noise cancelation is at least as good as that of the headset it replaced (even very effective with sudden high decibel sounds in enclosed space). Charge lasts plenty long for my use and the recharge time is more than adequate for me. I would buy these again if I were to need to.

Only headphones you'll ever need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here's my situation: I need some headphones that sound good, stay comfortable for long-term use, and most importantly: have good ANC. Originally, I was going to purchase the Bose NC Headphones 700, my only problem was I prefer earbuds to over-ear because they aren't as obvious. These offered all the same features as the 700s but in an earbud form-factor, so I decided to get these instead! Here is what I have liked and disliked about these headphones: Likes: -Fantastic ANC. I have been switching from 0 (passive) to 10 (full cancelation) to test out its limits and capabilities, and some scenarios shocked me. For example, last night I was sitting outside and there were crickets all around me and some people having a conversation nearby. I put in the earbuds and BOOM complete silence. I couldn't hear a thing. -Sounds great! Not the punchiest bass, but everything sounds awesome. -Touch controls are incredibly responsive. By limiting the controls to either long-press or double-tap they have been able to make the controls easily done sequentially with no delay. What I mean by this is you can tap four times in a row with no pause between taps, and it will register as two double taps. I have found this especially useful when switching between noise cancellation levels. -The app is awesome. I have heard complaints about the Bose Music app before, but I have had no problems. It works great and is quite simple to use. -The buds are very comfortable. I often forget I'm wearing them -When using the microphones to take a call or record your voice (BTW the mics sound fine) they activate a feature called self-voice. This makes it so that the background noise is still being cancelled, but you can hear your voice perfectly as if you aren't wearing headphones. I have found this feature to be very functional and useful. Dislikes: -The case is bulky and doesn't feel great. I don't like that there is a button to release the latch to open, I wish it were magnetic. I appreciate the wireless charging, but I don't like the case a ton. -No support for multiple connections. Most Bose products of the past have allowed you to connect to two devices at once and instantly switch between them, but this support was no added to these headphones. -No Alexa/Google Assistant support. This is something I was really hoping to see, as Siri is quite terrible. They've put this functionality into their over-ear headphones, I really hope they update these later as well to gain this feature. I've enjoyed these earbuds a ton and I believe they can easily replace over-ear headphones in a smaller, more convenient package.

I want them to be great… but…
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really really want to love these but they just aren’t as great as the original Quiet Comfort earbuds. The sound is amazing, as it should be, but it glitches frequently. Glitch 1: When connected to my iPad, it regularly disconnects. It has gotten to the point that I don’t even connect to my iPad anymore (after 3 days of owning these). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the iPad and no difference. It just disconnects. Glitch 2: especially with spoken word (e-books, podcasts) it briefly switches to Immersive Mode, making the speaker sound like they are in an echo hall for split seconds at a time. No rhyme or reason to this. It just randomly happens. I hope they fox the firmware to resolve these issues. I am reporting app issues constantly to them.

Nearly perfect but fit different from QC20s
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a long-time Bose earbud user, I'm sad that I'm not able to give these a perfect review. I switched to these recently after using and absolutely loving the QuietComfort 20 wired earbuds for many years. The comfort, fit audio, ANC and everything else about the QC20s were top notch. The Stayhear tips on the QC20s fit my ears so perfectly, that I figured these would be the same, just in wireless form. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The in-ear fit with these earbuds is slightly bulkier than the QC20s, and don't quite sit fully into the ear canal for me like the QC20s did. The touch features on the earbuds are nice, but I ended up turning off touch controls because I would activate the controls just trying to get these earbuds to fit securely in my ear every time. There's also slightly more sound leakage with these compared to the QC20s, but that could be because of the fit issues. Having said that, these are more comfortable to wear for me personally, compared to standard earbuds that just simply wedge straight into your ear canals. This is especially noticeable when wearing for long periods of time. So the comfort is still very good, despite the lack of a perfect and secure fit for me. Other than the fit issues, the sound quality is very good, and the ANC is top-notch, as to be expected from Bose. I was surprised at the depth of the bass for something as small as these earbuds, and the EQ adjustment in the Bose Music app is also a great feature to have. The build quality is also top-notch. Would definitely recommend these, but for those coming from the QC20s, just note that these may fit slightly differently, despite the same style of Eartips.
