Full disclosure - I don’t like things that are a pain in the butt to use. These earbuds are a pain in the butt. The Bose app, which you really need to get all the functionality, is lousy, and it’s fairly rare I can get the stupid things to connect to a device on the first try. I use these for two devices - my iPad and my smart TV. Any time I go to connect to one or the other, they get confused, and I have to do a whole song and dance to get connected. Just went through it again tonight, and when I finally got connected to my smart TV, now the left earbud has no sound. SO WISH I could return these, but I’m past the return period.

Quiet and Comfortable on regional jets

I travel for business and fly almost every week. Flying on smaller regional jets you seem to get more engine noise in the cabin. With these in it is nearly quiet and comfortable the entire trip. The only issue I have had was with the first set one side quit working after two days. Thanks to BestBuy return policy I was able to return to a BestBuy in a state that was over 1000 miles away.

The sound quality is great but I haven't compared it to anything else so does it justify the price? Battery life is great but these are beefy, and so is the case, so I wouldn't expect any less. These are extremely quiet for me. I previously used airpods and these are noticeably quieter. The touch controls are awful and I'm not sure you can turn them off. If I need to adjust them in my ear then the slightest touch pauses the music. Its getting infuriating especially since they don't fit in the eat great. They're comfortable its just they're not snug tight..bending over they start to fall out so you can imagine any other head movement. TLDR: For the price not worth.

The audio being quiet on the earbuds is unusual, though we have great steps https://bose.life/3GWu4VI to help with the low volume.
With the touch controls as they are on the main surface of the earbuds, when adjusting the fit we would recommend touch the sides of the earbuds. Can't switch device from earbuds

The silicone ear fittings block sound better, and stay in my ears better. The huge miss for the this product is the same as the 700 series headset. You cannot change device from the headset. You must find which device it connected to automatically and disconnect. Is it the phone in my pocket, the iPad in my bag or the Mac on my desk?

Posted .Hey Charles, When the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds charging case is opened for the first time, the buds will automatically enter discoverable mode and Status Lights will pulse blue. The earbuds can then be detected by your mobile device. To connect a device and learn about more features, you should download the Bose Music app to finish the connecting process. If you don’t have the Bose Music app, you can follow the directions within your smartphone’s Bluetooth menu to connect the earbuds. Once the connection is made, the Status Light on both earbuds will turn solid blue. To connect additional devices, you can press and hold the Bluetooth button located on the charging case until you see the Bluetooth Status Light slowly pulse blue or hear the “ready to connect” voice prompt spoken in the earbuds. Then, just follow the directions within the Bose Music app or the Bluetooth device menu to finish pairing. You can connect to and play audio from only one device at a time.

Only issues after long wear. Ear moisture causes a slow disconnect with ear seal. So it seems to slip out slightly. Thus you have readjust or wipe them off and insert again. Otherwise great headphones. Now call quality people can hear outside noise during calls. Even if you have noise canceling on your end.

The biggest con was not being able to use the left bud without the right bud being engaged. The provided ones are ok but do not provide the comfort of memory foam. Otherwise a great sounding pair and great noise cancellation. Definitely beats the AirPods Pro in sound and anc.
