I've had several pairs of bose earbuds; Bose QC20, Bose Soundsport Free, Bose QC35 II, Bose QC45. Bose's Noise canceling has only gotten better over the years but their products are still the best in class. Not to mention Customer service, when my earbuds were damaged they sent a new pair out for free.

I like to walk and talk. In buying a pair of Bluetooth earphones, I researched which earphones would be best for phone calls outdoors. My research led me to these. People are under the misconception that the admittedly superior noise cancelling leads to better phone call performance when outdoors. Unfortunately, the microphones are not well engineered and they pick up wind and road noise to the extent that it blocks out your voice. Buy the Jabras instead.

There's not really any noise canceling when talking on the phone with these. Your calls can hear every sound in the background.

Noise cancellation is present in both earbuds. The microphone on the right earbud is for voice pickup during calls. Noise cancellation uses different microphones.
