The Iphone ear pieces would have adapted to the other instrument seamlessly without having to turn off one instrument before using the other.

This is the second pair in a month and one of the buds AGAIN has failed. The return period has expired by 4 days and now have to contact Bose customer service to fix. I also have Beats Pro and no issues and still going over a year. FIRST PAIR. Although I like the noise canceling here it is not worth the high price tag and bad quality. Terrible quality here!!!!
