Pairing Issues Tanks the "Affordable" Option

I expected a slight difference in noise cancellation and sound quality--which I think there was--but the pairing/connectivity issues were really the reason these were not worth keeping. They are a decent option if you are looking for something more affordable within the Bose family... but I feel like there has to be a model under a different brand that skips over the pairing issues and has comparable sound in a similar price range. I will be going for to the QuietComfort Ultra (2nd gen) next.

Great for listening and ANC

Bose needs to work on call clarity and better microphones./ People have a tough time hearing what you are saying on calls. Would recommend for just listening and ANC not for people who talk alot on the phone in my opinion.

The sound is better than the QC-II and the noise cancellation is too notch. I wore them on a recent flight and they blocked out all the surrounding sounds. The best part is being able to customize the functions on each ear bud and adjusting the treble and bass! These won’t let you down!

We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad to know you’ve noticed how effective the earbuds are at shutting out noise, they’re designed to consistently block distractions so you can focus on what matters most.
To get the best feel, we recommend toggling between Quiet Mode (for full noise cancellation) and Aware Mode (to let in some of your surroundings). As for the connection issue, it may be due to the earbuds not being in proper pairing mode or other setup factors. But this earbuds are just 1000/10 the features on the app to control the noise or be aware was something I was not expecting at all! I highly recommend this product! I’m in love with Bose brand!
