Bose quiet comfort ultra 2nd generation review

I’ve tried other earbuds and these earbuds have the best range and richness in the price range. They might not be the best for athletic use because of the ‘thunk’ feedback when running, but the sound quality and noise cancellation are highest quality outside of exercising.

I frequently wear these walking sidewalks beside busy streets. The NC effectively blocks out road noise well enough to listen and speak to a popular language learning app.

The only issue is that if you don’t put them in the charging case just right, they won’t disconnect from the phone and start charging.

I have had both now and while they aren't as compatible in the Apple ecosystem, they sound much better than the Airpods and the bass is killer. Highly recommend.

Great for an active lifestyle and work

Volume controls are a bit touchy, but, aside from that, they are much more compatible with work and my active lifestyle than the AirPod Pros that I’ve had for years. It’s Bose, so of course the sound quality is phenomenal and I use all three noise cancellation modes depending on where I’m at… I’ve been in casinos and not noticed the people or machines around me. Best purchase I’ve made this year!

Bose Ultra 2nd Gen Ear Buds

I was able to easily adjust the EQ to add a bit of treble and subtract a bit of bass to to fit my listening to a wide range of music. The " instant on" when the buds are placed in ear is nice, the charge case is compact and safely holds the buds. Highly recommended

I wanted to keep them, but connection issues started after having them only two days. It got so bad I contacted customer support. They had me do several steps, but nothing worked. Earbuds wouldn't stay connected to my phone and would connect to the Bose app. They offered a replacement, but wanted me to send the earbuds back to them first. No, that's not acceptable when I paid $300 for these earbuds. Took them back to Best Buy, exchanged them for another pair. Same issue after 2 days... wouldn't stay connected to my phone. Apparently, the Gen 2 earbuds have issues staying connected to Android phones. After the same issue happened with the second set, I went back to Best Buy and returned them and got a different brand. Guess what? Not one single problem with my new earbuds, and I've had them for over a month. Bose needs to get their stuff together and fix their customer service AND their connectivity issues. No, I'm not a Bose hater- I have the Quite Comfort Ultra headphones, and they are simply SUPERB!! If you're an Android user- avoid these like the plague! Rated 2 star because of sound quality and noise cancellation. Customer Service- 0 stars, Connectivity- 0 stars. Sound Quality- 5 stars, Noise Cancellation- 5 stars. The first two can't bring this above 2 stars overall.

The connection issues you encountered may have been related to multiple devices in your environment having Bluetooth turned on, which can sometimes interfere with pairing. Earbuds will start playing, then drop out...alot. Sound quality is great, battery charging is hit & miss. You must make sure its chargingthe earbuds because it won't charge even though they're in the case, & fit is average, also makes a thud sound while running
