About the same as the first generation ultras. A little less bass but balanced sound. Still the most comfortable to wear of the over ear headphones.

This Is an excellent choice headphones with auto connect feature and noise cancelling

I’m AuDHD, which is mostly beneficial in my case. One thing that is not beneficial for me is that my hearing is sensitive enough to pick up different sources of electricity. I tried less expensive noise-canceling headphones that were a complete waste of money, so I decided to buy the highest-rated noise-canceling headphones available. These headphones are worth every penny in both listening quality and noise cancellation.

Went in thinking I was buying another product since all phones/watches are that brand - however the noise canceling was no better than ear buds. So I tried these out and they are great - took first flight this past week and they are exactly what I hoped for.

Great sound, battery life is a little shorter than expected. Noise canceling is good and they are super comfortable to wear.

Great sound quality. Little loose on the head. If you wear glasses it tends push the sides of the glasses into your head. If the headphones were redesigned to give space for glasses that would be really nice. Also a slightly tighter fit. It also disconnects from my iPhone when someone calls me I have to manually select that I want to use my headphones or it will default to using my phone. I would say the sound quality is great. I tried Sonos headphones and was very disappointed after owning and using these Bose headphones. I would say they are overpriced for sure but everything is. The QC and QCU series 1 are a good option if on sale.

Sound quality is excellent! Comfortable enough to wear for hours!

These are the headphones I have ever had . I wear these all day at work for video conferencing. The sound is superb. My voice is clear to others. I have used these to watch movies at home and it is so much better than surround sound. Music sounds better than ever. Additionally, the noise cancellation allows me to concentrate in a busy office when I need quiet time without sound.

Quality headphones. Noise canceling and great for phone calls. I use these while operating heavy machinery and am able to take calls hands free. The person on the other end can’t hear all of the loud background noises. Very nice feature. These are the second pair I have owned.
